Finally I found out what was sampling Del Shannon's Be My Friend (it's off the really obscure 1968 album The Further Adventures of Charles Westover), I knew I heard it somewhere as a sample I just couldn't remember where and then someone linked to this, which I had heard a few time before, and holy hell there it is, it's been bugging for a while.
Seth, don't know if you check these but I was having a Science (read Tech) issue today streaming a friend's dad's funeral out to people in Melbourne, Brisbane and Europe and I swear, a mate quoting this song (or our laughter when he did it) seemed to fix it for us. You may have performed a miracle per the Catholic Church. If you don't get a Hoverboard here; remind the angels what this song did on earth.
