The Platinum Classic ink line has about half a dozen colors, all iron gall, hence the darkening behavior. Modern iron gall, hence safe for any pen. My favorite for monocolor drawing, especially the Citrus Black, which shades the most dramatically.
Im excited to see that you got the side click. Its a pen I hugely recommend, and has become my one and only EDC pen over the year or so I had it. I even gave my Bolt action away to a family member since I didn't use it. Looking forward to your review.
Sal,this reynolds 045 is extremely popular in India. I used it extensively during my schooling days and still have a couple of them with me. They are well functioning after 10 years or so. In India, they used to cost around a dollar for a 10 pack. Not sure of the pricing now. Good value indeed. Thanks for the video. 😊
@@unsharpen just want to share another information that I found some reynolds 045 are made in Mauritania. I see them is stationery stores here in Bangkok. Though reynolds is actually the same company you mentioned and they are operating in Indian market from that time, I guess from '40s. In my view these 045 model is their most popular product along with the jetter model. You can find them in most of the offices in India, just like BIC ballpens. You should get a jetter model, they are double the price of a 045 and retractable ones. I m sure you will love them. 😁
haha that Reynolds is LEGENDARY! You rarely see it any more but it was ubiquitous particularly in government offices... it's sort of the face of nostalgia and bureaucracy. It's well under 10 cents btw.
It’s a Lamy ST. You could also get a Logo. Before the Aion those were they many Lamy fountains pens below the CP1 but above the Safari. ST is nicer than the logo but harder to find

Am I seeing a Reynolds 045, I am using this since 1992.. I have used it in all my exams .. It is one of oldest ballpoint pen manufacturer. Initially Reynold was probably from USA but it's headquarter is in India.
The Jetstream with the "rubber" grip was called the SPORT. It kicks ass. Depending on the user, she or he may prefer the 5, 7, or the 1 ml point. The only problem with the powerhouse that it is and I love the pen, but, the pocket clip can go to hell.
I have one Uni Ball One gel pen and it almost runs out of ink. I think it's not that good as the reviews say about it. I prefer Uni Ball Signo 307 to Uni Ball One in every aspect: ink, pigment, and barrel. Uni Ball Signo is far better than Uni Ball One in my opinion though Signo is more expensive that One. Nice video!

My go to pens over the last month haven't been that interesting. Because of a shift in workflow, I haven't been using my fountains at all really. I've been using my Shuttle and Brass Cap-o-Matic Fisher Space pens a lot, and a whole bunch of different FriXion pens, multipens, Fineliners, Clickers, all in a range of colors. Perhaps, the only pen I've been using quite a lot that you may not have heard of is a pen from a company called Glovion. It's quite a nice ballpoint, multipen with a carbon fiber body. It's very attractive, and writes beautifully, very little pressure required. Comes loaded with black and blue. But the box contains some other refills, including a red. It also has a stylus tip on the other end, and there are a number of different tips you can use in the box. I think it was about $16 on Amazon. I'd recommend it.

Oooh, a Tactile Turn Side Click! I have one myself and am very much enjoying it. The standard length one indeed uses Pilot G-2 size refills.
