What size is the speaker? Looks like a 3.5 inch.

What's the green wire for the phone? Is that to mute the speakers for phone calls? Is it need to produce sound? I am planning to replace my factory speakers soon, and I am not concerned with the mute feature.

Your video was a great help thank you. One question when I pulled the drivers side speaker out, the telephone connection came unplugged and I cannot find it to reconnect - Any ideas on this would be appreciated.

Don't worry about the phone speaker wire. the phone system in the car doesn't work any longer with the cellular systems we have now so you don't need to reconnect it.

hi there, I have 1995 mercedes e320 convertible and the speaker on the front driver side door is not working, I want to change it and I want to know what is the size I should buy to be a direct fit for it.
I read many articles that suggest 5 inch, some 6 inch and it is confusing really about the exact size.
