I love this but I just wish you'd take more time to explain some of the steps more throughly. Just consider the fact that several people watching are totally new (including myself haha) at making suit related things. Other than that, they looks amazing and you did a great job on the paws themselves☺️
I messed up and used too much hot glue, and i ended up making a pair of gross looking paws that were extremely uncomfortable because i couldn't bend my fingers at all. I gave up on them and used the extra fur i had to make some really cute tails!
@@JerryDaMouse07 well, if the case is that you added too much foam to the middle finger you can always cut it off, but if you possibly just have large hands, then you can glue a bit more foam on the sides of others! Hope this is helpful!

Thanks! =D Most other videos out there (despite even being patreon-backed and stuff) are nothing more than a super-speed timelapse of somebody doing... something, without any commentary or explanation. I love how you explained the steps, the why and how and used actual realtime footage! Damn~ Thankies!
Isabella Draw The tape was used to make the patterns for the fur, she covered the paw in tape and then cut it into pieces that could be traced on to the backing of the fur. She then cut the fur out, and glued and stitched into the right places

It doesn't help that she doesn't mention a lot of things and glosses over several important details that wouldn't be apparent to someone not used to working with fabric. I found out the hard way.

I wish I had the supplies to do this, I recently went to ECCC with my mom and aunt and met 2 very sweet furries, One my mom didn't see but I got a picture with and the other just walked on over and asked me if I was a furry of course I said yes❤ After our chat my mom said "I guess I'll help you get one of those suits now that I see they aren't bad" Over summer break I'm so buying all the stuff I need and using this vid to make my adorable puffy paws!!

I get it now she puts the masking tape on and and marks down the areas and then she takes the tape of and uses it to trace the fur. Then she sews the fur of backwards and puts it on the paw.

Not enough people have tutorials for these up, kudos! My only suggestion is stitching your own gloves out of lycra. That way your not using a winter glove that will make your hand sweat. Its a lot smoother and cooler :>

Quite random but I used this tutorial + your slim digitigrade legs tutorial to 'come out' to my mum as a furry. You making these tutorials really helped me build a lot of emotional trust between me and my mum and I'm not sure you even realise it. yes its not a pattern that will be on ur fursona wot they mean is u use the tape as stencils that u lay on the fur to trace so u know how much fur to cut to make ur paws

you can get white fur at walmart. There are furry rugs that are in the small carpet section that are really good for fur too but youll have cut the rubber grip on the bottom. Or you can find it online or at a fabric store!
I'm helping my Daughter make these. I have made many many things in my life including several pairs of shoes using different methods. The basics of patern making remain the same. You either wrap your foot in cellophane or a stocking(pantyhose). This makes taking the tape off much easier. So when you are cutting the tape off its also easier to slip the scissor tips in between the tape and the base glove/foam. You can use this cellophane method to generate other patterns as well like torso patterns or to make a near perfect dress manikin of yourself. I hope this helps folks in the future.
You could, but that wouldn't be puffy. I did the normal paws (no puffy) my first time, and they're much different from puffy paws. But if you do make them without the puff, it's really easy because all you have to do is make the two sides and sew them together :) No glove needed ^-^

It just feels warm :) and she said put a very thin layer on, if you put a thick layer on it will seep through the gloves and burn you

It’s probably on low heat, you can only burn yourself if you put too much on.

Not enough people have tutorials for these up, kudos! My only suggestion is stitching your own gloves out of lycra. That way your not using a winter glove that will make your hand sweat. Its a lot smoother and cooler :>

Quite random but I used this tutorial + your slim digitigrade legs tutorial to 'come out' to my mum as a furry. You making these tutorials really helped me build a lot of emotional trust between me and my mum and I'm not sure you even realise it. What if my fursona doesn't have a pattern on her paw? Do you still need to tape?
Gravity Greek Geek yes, because then you can use the tape as a reference to cut the fur out. You should do it whether you have a pattern or not
yes its not a pattern that will be on ur fursona wot they mean is u use the tape as stencils that u lay on the fur to trace so u know how much fur to cut to make ur paws

Hot glue gun, some scissors, foam, gloves, tape, and faux fur. Maybe a fur trimmer.

you can get white fur at walmart. There are furry rugs that are in the small carpet section that are really good for fur too but youll have cut the rubber grip on the bottom. Or you can find it online or at a fabric store!
I found some really cool designed and plain colored fur at craft stores like hobby lobby and Michaels

I'm helping my Daughter make these. I have made many many things in my life including several pairs of shoes using different methods. The basics of patern making remain the same. You either wrap your foot in cellophane or a stocking(pantyhose). This makes taking the tape off much easier. So when you are cutting the tape off its also easier to slip the scissor tips in between the tape and the base glove/foam. You can use this cellophane method to generate other patterns as well like torso patterns or to make a near perfect dress manikin of yourself. I hope this helps folks in the future.

No if you want a furry suit you have to make it pufffy
You could, but that wouldn't be puffy. I did the normal paws (no puffy) my first time, and they're much different from puffy paws.
But if you do make them without the puff, it's really easy because all you have to do is make the two sides and sew them together :) No glove needed ^-^
Yeah but they won't be so puffy and chubby! And you might want to stick two fingers together as most animals have only 4 fingers
