- Watch Wolves' first day of training in Marbella.
Gary O'Neil's men got straight down to work in the sun and it was a chance for the gaffer to catch a first glimpse of our three new signings, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Pedro Lima and Rodrigo Gomes in training for the first time. - กีฬา
Would love to see Podence in a wolves shirt this season
Same
*With a good attitude
Atleast he showed up, unlike Fabio and guedes
He wanted to leave since last season. We don't want anyone who isn't 100% committed
Yes I liked podence but if he wants to go need to sell
Seeing podence back makes me smile again because he totally deserves his place in the team and all the fans are all happy to see you again 😊
I agree. I think he's a TOP player, and I hope Gary gives him a fair crack.
I have a really good feeling about this season
Love watching these training videos i do have to say podence is looking good , looking forward to what the season brings🧡🖤
Lima will be a special player
Fr
i thought the same, his passing looks incredible for someone so young
Why do you in Europe call the player by his last name? Here in Brazil we call it pedro lima or just "pedro".
@@misterioso4803
A force of habit I imagine.
I suppose it stems from it being common in England for people to have the same first name, whereas surnames tend to be more diverse.
In addition to this, 99% of the time it is the player's surname on the back of the shirt, so it stands to reason that people would call them by the name on their shirt.
I'd be interested to know what country you're from*, why you would call them by their first name, and if it's something similar (but in reverse) to what I've said for in England.
*I'm also aware that in other countries, the first name is usually more diverse than the surname; so the opposite of what it is in England. Maybe this is the reason?
*EDIT:* I just noticed that you stated that you're from Brazil.
@stevehaire6324 yes, I'm Brazilian and a fan of the former Lima club
Podence is like another mini Hazard. He'll be great for unlocking teams coming off the bench, with his stature, they won't have a clue.
If we don't sell any major players I can see this team going Europe with Gary
Looks to ba good attitude and togetherness amongst the squad. Hopefully, we can still pick up a a few more players. The new guys look like they will add quality.
With wolves saying we’re going for Europe, with these new young lads we should have a good season. We need it as we haven’t had the support from the board but this season looks to be different.
@@alexterry4418 Poor decisions on recruiting players for high fees and zero interest in playing for the club, has lead to where we are today. Which, by and large (not Lage thankfully - is in a better position than in the previous 2 seasons.
In large part to Matt Hobbs
Doc and Doyle def still got sunburn lol.
Podence looked sharp. Also Lonwijk looked quality dealing with Larsen
Yes it's good to see podence back G O niel must think he's got a chance to show what he can do for us He looks sharp ... Not all wolves fans will agree with me But we'll see
There seems more comments about Podence, and all good, than any other player. I think he's TOPS!
I agree, Steve; with everything you've said.
I was going to leave a comment about how good Podence looked but figured that most people aren't a fan of his. It looks like I've misjudged people's thoughts on him.
That being said; it could simply be that people are just saying what they see - and that's most certainly a sharp looking Danny boy.
It'll be interesting to see where it goes for him. From what I understand, he didn't feel like he was a part of O'Neil's plans at the start of last season, so he felt disenfranchised. Let's hope that he has it in him to not let that affect him, and for him to show what he's capable of so that Gary has to take notice.
Signs so far look like that may be the case.
Fingers crossed.
I genuinely rate him as a player.
Can't wait for the new season 😍 ❤❤❤
Daniel Podence 🤩i hope we can make him happy again at wolves, I would be sad to see our little Eden Hazard regen to leave
27 direct goal contributions last season is hard to ignore from Podence.
With 1 year remaining on his contract, which he agreed to in Wolves favour to protect his value - will he stay or go? He could have moved for free on July 1 without signing that extension.
He looks like he's ready to go. Galvanised by a very successful stint in Greece again
I really hope he STAYS and PLAYS!

O'Neil needs to show faith in Podence for him to want to stick around.
Podence needs to show intent and eagerness for Gary to do that - and that's what I'm seeing in these early training sessions.
It's up to both of them. If Podence keeps this up then Gary has to factor him in as a key player. If he can convince Podence of this, then I can't see why he won't wish to stick around and extend his contract.
Personally; I hope he does.
Give Podence a start in the first game - I'm certain he'll be a great success again. Welcome back, Daniel.
Factor 500 for Doc n Doyle - Them boys gonna fry.
Bora Pedro Lima, futuro melhor lateral direito do mundo. Sucesso!
Pedro Lima, vai brilhar.
Keep the squad together even loan wolfs 🔥
Dan Bentley… getting ready for the bench in North London 👍
Guessing you’re not a Wolves fan?
I’d love to see hodge bag a few goals next season 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Looking good lads hope we smash the premier this year if England can get to the finals then anything is possible
Didnt know Van Dijk joined us lmao
Pedro lima🦁❤🖤💛
Pedro lima o brabo 👏🏻🟣
화이팅 히찬❤❤
hi Dave thank for vid, hope you well inspector "C
Great to see Mosquera and Podence there... didn't clock Chiquinho though. No sign of Sa, Neto or J Gomes yet either
Sa, Neto, Gomes and Semedo have been given time to rest after their respective international duties. Boubacar Traoré and Enzo Gonzalez are representing their national teams at they Olympics. No clue about Chiquinho though
Please get me a ticket to come watch your game. I'm a fan from South Africa ❤
Day 2 ASAP
Please please please Podence
Podence looking 🔥
Lima is amazing. Podence
Pedro Lima é o peste.
Check out the class of Podence (8.00). GREAT player!
Give on 🔥
Still need that quality defender..hopefully Elvedi or Carmo. And another attacker wouldn’t go amiss either. Surprised to see Podence there.
why? he's still our player and obviously wants to train, maybe Gary's had a word with him and he might enjoy playing under him
@@JBG-AjaxzeMedia He’s made it clear he doesn’t want to be here so I expect him to go with Silva, Guedes and Sasa.
@@JBG-AjaxzeMedia I hope he STAYS as he's a TOP player.
Brasil
How do coaches motivate their team that finished around mid-table? What is the team's new goal for the season?
At aroud. 10:00 mins looks like Gary ignores podence when shaking hands with players. Unless he did off camera
May have done it before hand we don't know, I think the fact he turned up says alot
was thinking the same
Why would he do that don’t think he would even be out there if he wasn’t thinking about having him back
Wolves am getting europa league this season Coyw 🐺
Nigel Lonwijk looks like he could this year fight for the team
Sarabia's thinking about retirement there at the end!!!
2nd
wolves💛🫡
Poor Tommy with leminas neck on fire comment 😂 know how he feels
Craig Dawson for Captain.
What’s Podence doing?
I'm not sure what you mean, but he's a top player and I hope he STAYS AND PLAYS!
Podence is back???
Who else thinks Podence could play this season
He certainly deserves a fair chance as he's a TOP player.
Is hoever there isn’t he originally a centre back
He’s crap
he's a rwb
7 PLAYERS WOLVES SHOULD GO FOR IF THEY WANT TO END UP IN TOP 6 NEXT SEASON:
1. JOAO NEVES
2. BENJAMIN PAVARD
3. NICOLO BARELLA
4. SÉBASTIEN HALLER
5. EDER MILITAO
6. BREMER
7. VITINHA
Hope they not destroy Larsen, big men cant train long and intense like smaller players, City learned that lesson with Haaland.
First again coyw 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
And 2 😅
Looks a bit aimless.
Guess Doc and Lowijk are due to be out for the first couple weeks after Larsen broke their ankles.
