- What is the sound of summer in Japan?
It's finally summer vacation! 🌞
But we can't really go anywhere outside of our prefecture because of some restrictions. 😅😬 To start our "stay inside the prefecture" week-long holiday, we decided to have a picnic at the park.
And what do you hear at the park (or anywhere in Japan) during summer?
The screeching sound of cicadas! They are called "semi" in Japanese.
Japanese people think of cicadas as symbol of summer. Although they get annoyed with the noise sometimes but without them, Japan's summer wouldn't be the same. 😊💕

What a peaceful time for picnic. Ang laki ng park. Japanese have so much respect for nature. Nakakamiss lumabas. Got intrigued with Sea Breeze. And ohhh! Detective Conan, one of the reason I fell in love with onsen.
Yes, Japanese people really have huge respect for nature! They even have numerous holidays like "mountain day", "sea day" and the like. 🌼💕 and their parks are always so clean and well-maintained. 👍🏻 I hope you can go out soon with your family and friends 🙏🏻 Thanks again for your warm comment Jun! This is so relaxing to watch sis! 😍 and the sound of cicadas~ I instantly associate that sound with summer in Japan because of anime haha! Di yan mawawala sa slice of life anime 😆 also, even if you can't leave your prefecture, it seems that there are still a lot of things you can do and places to visit. Kahit yung park that you went to seems big! 💖 How I miss going out too~ Feeling nakiki-picnic nalang muna ako sa inyo while watching 😆 I miss Mo's Burger too! And yay for Case Closed/Detective Conan 😍 Nasa episode 400+ na ata ako nagstop, but ang hirap balikan, di ko na alam san magsisimula ulit hahahaha 😆
