First of all, a lot of people (particularly Americans) think of Britain as England only. They would be greatly mistaken, because whilst England is part of Britain, so is Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and other smaller islands like Jersey that surround it. The Scots and Welsh are just as British as the English, so you can understand their annoyance when people refer to Britain as England, and even the English get annoyed. So when someone says "I love the British accent", I ask "which one?" Not only have you got the hugely varied English accents, you also got the variety of Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish and other areas in that category too.
Coming to your question then, I'll tell you that another thing that people generalize about Britain is the accent, usually thinking it as either cockney or "posh English" like in this video. So whilst they are only two out of a great number of English accents, they still a version of the accent: so that's what it is English. But this video does the typical dumb thing of calling it a British accent, whilst the Scottish accent gets its own category. That is why I am annoyed.

I would say that Spanish has so many different ways or accents. You could have been a little bit more specific like:
- European Spanish
- Caribbean Spanish
- Central American Spanish
- Mexican Spanish
- Andes Spanish
- South Cone Spanish
- African Spanish
- Filipino Spanish
I'm guessing they mean European (Spain) because of the actors/actresses you see in the video.

Yup we had to nail down on a common language across india.. since its practically impossible for everyone to learn 1652 .."bunch"..but still people need to know more than just Hindi and English... every state has there own dialect, script and a Language of their own :) ... anyways I just asked for an apology for our English accent... though I don't care much to be honest... but knowing someone hurt so badly by our accent...I thought an apology might make sense.. :)

I´m actually impressed to know that Spanish is considered the sexiest accent in this list. My native language is Spanish and I´ve always think Spanish accent sounds ridiculous.
