Penguin Lover My favorite liquids are CP and I do the exact opposite lol i ALWAYS put on a extremely moisturizing lip balm and then I don't wipe it off. I put the lipstick directly on top. For me that always yields the best result. It dries down. The color doesn't chip or get crumbly at all... if I don't do this is does. I think people should try it both ways to figure out what works best for them.

I personally liked the jeffree star ones (I find the quantity and price are worth it) or make your own :) It'll slowly plump your lips over time with increased blood flow and exfoliation also allows for smoother application and thus preventing that deep lip wrinkle our lips get with matte lips. It won't be overnight but over time but think of it as skin care.

I was taught that way from a professional makeup artist friend for red and dark lipsticks at least. you have to use a matching liner for it to work. you apply the lipstick just short of the edge of your lips blot THEN line. and then if you want to brighten it add some more lipstick to the middle. For dark colors and reds its been a life saver for me because it keeps the outline really really clean and sharp.
ion all honestly I use elf and it looks great all day. first apply a primer for oily skin to your oily areas and a regular one to your cheeks and non problem areas. If you are especially oily apply a light coat of finishing powder before foundation. I've been living for that method this summer and my experience has been amazing

The line is kind of unavoidable to me, I exclusively use very non-neutral colors so to speak (black and very dark colors) which creates a very obvious contrast compared to the pink lip color. What's worse is that my inner lip, that wet part that's impossible to get lipstick on, extends quite far out - probably because I have rather full lips - and is almost visible even with my mouth closed! Oh well, I've let that stop me from wearing lipstick for YEARS and I'm just sick of it now, so I'll ignore that stupid pink line and just wear my gorgeous lipsticks anyway. I've been using Baby Skin by Maybelline (it's a silicone mattifying primer) to help with the line on the inner lip. After my liquid lipstick is completely dry, I take the tiniest amount of the primer and dab it on my inner bottom lip, then I gently rub my lips together. Because the product is silicone based, it won't break up the liquid lipstick and it actually keeps the color matte while providing a little bit of slip so my lips don't feel so dry. I find that oil based products like balm or vaseline disintegrates matte liquid lipsticks, which is why I use that stuff to take everything off. I've tried other silicone primers, but I like the baby Skin the best. Higher end primers are sometimes a little on the "watery" side, which is great for your face, but feels weird on my lips, lol. 😊

This looks like a Don't - Don't - neither of those applications look good. Applying lipstick outside the lipline almost always is very noticeable, and most people that have a sense of esthetics would say that you are ruining your lip shape by erasing the cupid's bow

This overdrawn lip look is easy to screw up and is very obvious when you do screw up but looks natural and sexy when you manage to pull it off. Her natural lips are beautiful. And yes it is all just makeup and yes some makeup makes you look a bit slutty or very slutty, especially way too obvious overdrawn lip. In this case I am sure men would love this lip look for obvious reasons. If the idea here is sexy glam - it did not quite work - lips take this look to borderline slutty. Oml everyone in the comments in like "She looks exactly like Ariana Grande!!". It is called makeup. She did straight but light brows, same as Ari. Same eyeshadow pink and lighter at the bottom corners. Same eyeliner and falsies. Thats just her makeup. She obviously knew that she was going to get all these comments🙄 She is wearing black with a black choker. Finally she has her hair slick back with a Minnie mouse headband😂😂 Get some eyes she is an Ari wannabe. If she took everything off and had her hair normal, and took off the choker. I'm so confused, I exfoliate, use chapstick a lot, and no matter what I do or what lip gloss/ stick I try ((even high end brands!)) all come off, or cake/ look crumbly and cracked and gross. Very quickly too. I have no idea what to try at this point. It's SO weird!

Look, I thought putting chapstick on before was stupid because I thought it would cream my matte liquid lipstick up and not allow it to dry and I just got my Colourpop in the mail today and was trying them on and I was sooooo disappointed with how it was turning out and I was thinking “oh my god I just wasted 56 dollars on 11 lipsticks and all of them are crusting up on my lips UGHH “ but then I was searching YT and came across you and you saved me 😭 turns out CHAPSTICK BEFORE IS THE BOMB.COM!!!! new subscriber earned :)

I apply all these hacks on my own due to my personal experience 😂😂😂...but anyways applying foundation is a bad idea...i did that and everything was fine but after the removal of the lipstick my lips we dried like hellllllll....and i suffered for 1 entire week... it even started bleeding... foundation makes it too dry i swear

This overdrawn lip look is easy to screw up and is very obvious when you do screw up but looks natural and sexy when you manage to pull it off. Her natural lips are beautiful. And yes it is all just makeup and yes some makeup makes you look a bit slutty or very slutty, especially way too obvious overdrawn lip. In this case I am sure men would love this lip look for obvious reasons. If the idea here is sexy glam - it did not quite work - lips take this look to borderline slutty. Unless this is the intention - in that case she nailed it! This showed up in my recommendations thats why I watched it. And content is quite useful and Leyla is pleasant to watch!!! This is just my observation as far as the look goes - it may sound harsh - but all feedback is just that - feedback - take it or leave it - it is just about the look and nothing personal. If it was me - I would want to receive constructive feedback myself. Now there is also a difference between positive or constructive feedback feedback and offensive comments ( like one of the comments I saw "why this idiot wears minnie ears" - now this comment is effed up and offensive and was absolutely not necessary).
