Unreal! Your videos inspire me in so many ways. I am continually blown away at your skills, and how you move through the world. You don't need to ski more Xtreme stuff every year, I am equally impressed by how you capture the moments of your adventures!

Guys, this shit is insane. The Idea is just perfect because you can make a difference and skiing in Europe is still very sick. Everything of this video is just so inspiring and you're living your dream, something that only a small amount of people can say about their life. Great riding skills, editing is lit and I hope you continue, want to see more like this
Incredible as always, thanks for sharing your story bud! Keep up the amazing work, pumped for this ski season and will try staying as local as possible!
Nice approach! It has always felt awkward to me, that in those powder-porns everbody is philosophising about the lonliness and solitude on a mountain and the secret spirit of nature they can feel and which we should prevail. And then in the next scene they get out of a huge SUV, take a heli or a snow-mobile to the top, ski through the woods cut smal trees with their edges, which took years to grow and are supposed to protect the mountain from landslides… Why does it always have to be untracked snow? What's so bad about slushy bumbs to hotdog and rockhard slopes to curve inbetween? That's what I do, when I wait for powder and it's not too bad...
Super impressive film. But, that last line. Fluted spines, fast sluff and not a great base, with 100m of exposure. It sounds like you knew the risk but rolled the dice anyway. And it might have been expertly executed but I’m not sure it’s really the same sport when taking risks of that magnitude. There was just so much that could have gone wrong. Wishing you safe skiing in the future ✌️
You're 100% right. I did know there was a risk, but I was also confident in my ability to manage that risk. In my experience there's only a handful of times in a lifetime one gets the chance to ride a line like that, especially if you forego the AK Heli trip. You can never get the risk down to zero, so in the end it's a question of where you want to draw the line. I knew the snow pack on the face was solid, and I checked the stability in the entry tied into a snow anchor. But of course there's a myriad of things that could've gone wrong, from gear malfunction to catching an edge. For me this was something I knew I could pull off if I skied at the top of my level, and lucky for me I was right. Thanks for taking the time to watch and sharing your thoughts! Hope spring is treating you well :-)
Really good chapter video! Great snow, terrain, riding & good mellow attitudes. For all leg powered Alaskan backcountry pow' riding with good faith ~ faithandaction.net.
1:296:2914:24 Stop with this environmental crap. The climate has always been changing. deal with it. next time just don't go to the alps and stay in Scandinavia so you can keep your emissions lower.
Insanely talented skiers and riders, best edit i've seen in a while.

CO2 Mania

How can you make 700 kg of CO2 from 400-500 kg of fuel? Stick to your snowboard and forget the more complicated things :)
It's skis Osmund, not snowboard.
@@blackcrowsskis2006 OK fine, stick to your skis and forget the leftwing propaganda
They're lifetime emissions, where you factor in the production of the vehicle :)
Donald Trump is the only one to downvote this
Me too
skip the emissions shit....skiing without the other commentary
