Life on mars way better than ashes to ashes Sam & Gene were brilliant full of humour I just loved it unfortunately can’t say the same for ashes it didn’t have Sam!!!
The ending to Ashes to Ashes was always planned from the start, and is not really last minute; it runs for three series. Not exactly thrown together. If you'd prefer 'not to know', you're missing out. Ashes to Ashes is equally brilliant.
I loved Sam Tyler, was a shame they didn't make another series but I think they finished it really well. I do love ashes to ashes also but it's just not as good, I miss Sam :*( You've really made me want to watch Lif on Mars again, thanks for uploading, I loved the ending, I giggled when she said she'd call the police and they just laughed at her xD
You just wouldn't get away with this today, the BBC is just too woke. The BBC would probably replace everyone with a black cast and make it fully unbelievable if they remade it today.

@@blethigg9320 I did watch it and my point is the BBC wouldn't make something like this today, just the mild stuff the character Gene Hunt says would be too raw for the BBC now. They would probably make the whole cast black and extra woke if they remade this today. If you think this is woke then you haven't watched anything the BBC has made in the last 5 years, trust me this tame next to that.
