Thank you for the tip of pinning the fullness and using a weight or pushing down to pull some of the fullness out. That is a big help. I have been long arm quilting for a couple of years and it’s surely not if you get a quilt with fullness but when.
I'd like to see you make a video with your quilt made with all quilter's cotton and quilted w/ the same custom designs as you used on the all flannel quilt - Mountains and Pine Trees.
Hi! I just found you by halppen stance, but so glad I did. I too have a GAMMILL Longarm a Vison 22 on a 12 ft. table. All I have ever used was Panto behind the machine until about a year and a half ago I computer upgrade as you have. But I still only do E2E but just now don’t have the heavy tenseness in my baack and shoulders. But I would like to know what size needle do you quilt with. I have truely enjoyed this episode. I have beign watch you 2 nights now. I just found you last night and truly enjoy. Thanks so much. I use the Red Snappers, but I would like to know do you know whether the side puller are still on the maraket today? Thanks O
Slippers if the house is cold or barefoot-always! I also have anti fatigue mats but have to move them frequently which is drag- I wonder how many people have a moveable frame and spend sometime sitting in a high chair? I tried it but it’s hard because I move quite a bit -
New watcher from Instagram- you are awesome teacher! question where did you get the magnets? I have been using my Amara for about 3 years off an on due to still working- but just retired and am ready to get serious 😊
Why do you always put your quilts sideways on the frame? I'm not understanding the reasoning, instead of top to bottom on the frame. Please explain why.
Love the design. It appears to be very forgiving for us beginners. Will definitely try it at some point.
catching up on some past "Live & Unscripted"s while I clean up my space- really helpful tips in this project. thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!

I have friends who do highly detailed work and use a chair, but you can see from this video, it’s not really practical for my style of quilting😄

Local hardware store. Amazon also carries a similar product, for a couple more dollars, so that’s an option.
The webinar appears to be full and the wait list page is not loading! Darn!
Ann, reach out to me at info@stitchedbysusan.com and we’ll get you squared away.
Where do you buy your long magnets?
At my local hardware store. Amazon sells a similar product as well.

It simply requires fewer advances of the quilt. As long as the quilting design is non-directional…it’s a time-saver.
Hi there, for me a lot of times I buy the 108” wide backing and by putting it sideways on the frame I can use less of the backing by yardage.
