The Moves and Combos of Jubei (Samurai Shodown 2019)

Jubei Yagyu is an experienced, battle-hardened warrior, who causes havoc on the battlefield with his lengthy blades, Tiger and Sukehiro. Working for the Shogunate, he is the one who taught Yoshitora how to wield a blade.
In this video we will look at some moves and combos he can use in 2019's reboot of the series. Though it isn't a combo heavy game, there are still times where knowing combos could help maximize your damage output.
The moves are broken down into section, which will be listed below.
The directions for all moves are written as though your character is facing right. For throws, the [both] tag is used when a combo or move can be used off of both a forward and back throw. The 'xx' notation in move strings shows that you are canceling a normal move into a special move.
All footage was captured on a Playstation 4 Pro on patch 1.51 with a Razer Panthera (SFV Edition) Arcade Stick.

If you are new to fighting games, which I can sympathize with, I think this a great game to start with. It focuses very heavily on the fundamentals of fighting games and learning how to out think your opponent. None of the moves are particularly hard to execute, but learning when to safely use them is the real path to improvement.
