@@dumbinion1109 Is this not just another Shotten Totten/Battleline derivitive? Yes it is not hard to check those boxes. But this all feels very familiar without much in the review to say it is not just another variation
@@fearanarchy The early surrender thing is the defining feature, as well as flipping of cards (combined with the fact that every single card except the most powerful have pretty drastic special abilities) The meta around trying to surrender early but win late encourages really great, stupid mindgames as you, say, play your own strong cards face down in hopes it keeps the opponent from tapping out just yet I write 2 years later but hey
Warfighter: The WWII Tactical Combat Card Game is a good card-driven game, though I think it's generally seen as best when played solo. I've played it solo and with two players and really enjoy it.
Undaunted Normandy is my favorite. Undaunted North Africa is also great. Great deck builder with tactical map components. Had a great time playing through with my son..
Been looking for a small quick game for when we don’t have a ton of time. Might pick this one up.
Check out the company Button Shy. They specialize in these styles of games, and ,any are far better than this
@@fearanarchy I like Button Shy but having played the PNP of this game, it is easily as good as anything they put out..

I find the art highly thematic.
Just found out about the game, and I totally love the art as well.
Looks kind of like Marvel Snap.
Marvel snap came later
Other way around. Marvel Snap looks like this game. Air, land & sea = 2019. Marvel Snap = 2022.
It is amazingly a different game by simply adding heroes
Is that an expansion?
Oh I see now. It is literally a different game, with a fantasy theme
@@richjordan6461 yea, it was a pretty bad joke 😉
Why did he hit his game with the gavel at the end? I almost gasped. Where I come from, we treat our games gently
It’s a dice tower seal of approval
It's generally harmless, unless your name is Luigi.
So this is basically smash up with a war theme
Similar to Smash-up with the bases... and that is where the line is drawn. It is MUCH better than SU, IMO.
So what are the tokens for, Tom never tells us.
i think its tracking victory points as the game progresses
I love WW2 as a theme but this looks too shallow, why aren't there more WW2 card games? Does anyone know any good ones?
War
I've designed one, but it is not published yet. Message me if you want more details. Maybe I can make a pnp for you to try.
I found a card game called Of War and Men: WWII that I think is pretty fun. It's more complex than this game, but not overly so.

is there a solo variant for this game?
I dont see how there could be
Yeah it’s called Netflix
