Klay is playing 1 on 1 and iso which really isn't what he is known for. All will change when Dray comes back.

During "The Process", the Sixers had SO MANY top 10 draft picks that ended up being busts: Evan Turner, Carter-Williams, Okafor, Noel, Fultz, Simmons (not a bust but didn't want to play for them).
Meanwhile, the Warriors already plucked three potential franchise cornerstones in each of the last three drafts: Poole, Wiseman, and Kuminga.

The other day, they were playing with Poole / Kuminga / Moody. You put Wiseman in there with another year or two and they can be scary again. Big 3 as vets off the bench (or you trade part of them for a young super star... can't have too many!)
Curry taking less 3s and getting in his playmaking bag has helped this team a lot. It's just a matter of the others knocking down their open shots.
He has to. His percentage is in the toilet. He's killing them with the misses. But once he hits one or two he gets so hot he can score 30 in a quarter.
@@SDesWriter His percentage is as good as Trae Young's best year. It's not 'in the toilet'. It just isn't the 42% he normally shoots at.
Also, it's their rebounding and defense that has been killing them, more than anything.

@@topefasola350 He is 56th in the league in 3 point shooting and 85th for FG% overall. If that's not "in the toilet" I don't know what is. The Bulls don't have a designated 3 point shooter but have 3 guys with a better percentage than him.
@@SDesWriter Percentage, percentage, percentage... When his percentage from the 3 is still better than lots of stars that your little head could probably fathomed. It's only perceived so bcos it's Curry, but if you compare it to the league that's still a pretty decent number that he's got. 44% fg percentage, 38% from 3, 92% ft percentage. Not bad at all (only looks bad bcos of the standard that he's set for himself).
Warriors really have one of the worst injury luck. Last 3 years (including this year):
- Klay out for 2 years
- Dray out for half the season (2019)
- Curry out for the whole season (2019)
- Poole ankle problems
- Curry tailbone injury (2020)
- Wiseman out for almost the whole season and some of last season
- Dray out with back problems this season
- Iggy out with back problems
- Porter out with injury
- GP2 out with knee injury
- Damion Lee out with illness
Warriors were missing 5 of their main rotation players in this game too with 2 of them being starters.

@Kingkb2099 The little girl saved her allowance to go to a Warriors game on Dec 30. That game was postponed to Monday, 3/7 and so were her tickets. She was in tears when she found out her fave player, Steph, wasn't even in Denver. Warriors PR talked to the heartbroken, crying 10 yr old and most likely gave her tickets for the next game. When Steph heard about the 10 yr old's broken heart, he told GS PR that he wanted to meet her. He did just that before the game. That's the part that was all over ESPN/NBATV. ESPN's segment on Warriors @ Nuggets was just about Steph and his young fan, not the game highlights, nor about Steph scoring his career 20K pts. I think it was on that ESPN's SportsCenter's segment where the anchor(s) commented on Steph making a lifelong memorable moment w/his fans throughout his career---much longer than Ja; and that Morant ought to take notes from Steph.
I'm not a Grizz/Ja fan, but I think both, Steph and Ja have their own ways of treating their young fans that they will remember that special moment with their NBA heros for a very long time. I'm not sure if you saw that segment with a bit of shade thrown on Ja.

The only thing required for a Steph Curry team to be a contender is the ability to punish the most obvious double teams in the history of basketball.
Denver lost the game when they decided to sit Jokic up 10 with 6 minutes left in THIRD QUARTER. Then bring him back up down 6 in the fourth while Steph got it going with him in the bench. Idk how many Denver games I've seen where they do that bs.

Steph is the greatest streak shooter in history. That said, anyone not paying attention to the statistics might want to peek. Steph is averaging career lows in FG percentage and 3pt percentage (43.4% & 37.8%). Steph is 85th in FG% and 56th in 3pt%.
If you make all your opinions from watching highlights he looks like the best shooter in the league. If you watch the games you realize he's struggling except for when he goes on a hot streak. GSW better get Draymond back and get lucky because there are at least 5 teams in the West that can beat them.
