Thanks Cody! This place is SOOOO much fun! So much chunk and gnar! I wish it showed up in the footage better but, you know how that goes; GoPro effect. LOL!

Howdy Patrick. That was a great video on the race. I hope to be able to get to that level sooner than later. BTW, really enjoyed working on the trails over at Devils Den last week with all you guys.
I'm ready to upgrade to a full-suspension bike. While I hope to ride an enduro trail like that soon, I dont know what level bike is enough/not enough or too much bike for that kind of ride. There's, what seems to be a good 2017 bike on Alamo Bike Bay and I have also been given a pretty good deal on a new 2019 Stumpjumper ST Comp Alloy here in town from a bike shop. I've always looked used but man, it's always hard to know what your going to get.
    Thoughts? Thank you sir.

Hey Malcom! It was great working out there with you as well! Hopefully we'll be done soon!
"What type of bike?", is the million dollar question & there's sooooo many great bikes out there. My 1st suggestion is to demo as many bikes as you can. Also, ask others on group rides if you can give there's a spin. Most will be happy to oblige. As for travel, (and everyone's different) I find the sweet spot for front/rear travel to be around the 150mm range plus or minus 10mm. Just opinion here; if you're looking to get into rougher terrain at higher speeds, you'll likely find that Stumpjumper ST running out of travel. Especially as you progress as a rider. I ride a 2019 Santa Cruz Bronson with 160mm up front &150mm in the rear. I've found it to be VERY capable for just about everything. My first "trail" bike was the Santa Cruz 5010 with 130mm front & rear. That bike did everything REALLY well & I even raced my 1st enduro on it. The travel was it's only limiting factor. I can contact you via Facebook & we can talk some more if you'd like?

Dude I’m glad that pedal quit on you when it did. That could have been so bad.

NO JOKE MAN! I thought about that after the race. If it would've broke landing any of those jumps :/
