His microphone doesn't seem to pick it up, I definitely heard it, but it was very subtle in this video. Its called a "Whelen Howler" and its not the typical rumbler siren. My microphones seem to pick this up fine. I'm willing to bet he has a "Wind Reduction" setting turned on, which nearly removed the rumbler entirely.
Colored lenses are SOOO much more effective. Just look at the difference between the front and sides of the high mount box. You can barely see the front flashing.

Since they use a double siren sometimes it gets mixed in that where you don't hear it
