Yes, I think that would probably be the next and better test, RMC per scan signal. I think I got 3 scus per plate on a 10k signal for example, seeing if that stays true across the signal ranges. Much like signal returns and mining ore quality
i was in the halo and only found 2 panels in 1hr and only got 11scu... i was in the most dense location of the belt (20.4Gm away from the star)... so either i was very very unlucky or it got nerfed allready and the spawns are not as frequent anymore.
This still works @matthey.1994. There are 3 types of panels. The small ones give 1SCU the Pointy one around 6-7SCU and the big bended one gives 10-11SCU. You need to scan for numbers like 2000, 4000, 6000 and so on. I've seen up to 12000. The numer corelates to the amount of plates you will find. So far 've found up to 6 plates on the 12000 scan. The problem is, they don't always all spawn in and you have to be really slow approaching, otherwise you just ram them out of the way without seeing them. For me they spawn in within a plus 200m range. Best places to find are in the asteroid clouds near a a station with minig, like CRU-L1, HUR L1/L2 and so on. This way I solo make like 80 to 120 SCU of RMC per hour. With two or three people you can double that very easy. Most time spent is switching from pilot seat to turret seat.
Sorry to tell you there is a cargo exsploit that allows you to sell any commodity two times and RMC is the favourite so the selling terminal are being camped so good luck selling RMC. Did you not wonder why it was so hard to sell it now or did you think there must be a lot of reclaimers out there. By the way great salvage work you have done.
I tested solo reclaimer with ert missions .died pretty fast so first get a crew but when solo go do ert with combat ship then go back with reclaimer . I didn't scrap just used claw .you get 4 ships to reclaim at least 3 ships are over 240 scu. I made 1.3 mil for each ert mission selling at a18.
I got a bugged connie cleanup mission last night that gave me 240 SCU of RMC immediately when turning on the scraper beam. When stacking boxes I blew up randomly but I have seen the bug on a connie
would be nice if you included a theoretical aUEC/hr, obviously a reclaimer still makes more money just doing CMAT and ignoring the RMC but the theoretical amount could possibly useful for future patches if they decide to change the sell price of RMC and CMAT but not the missions
Yeah, I think that is fairly difficult to determine due to the variance in travel times and such. But, yea I could put in a time to complete that particular job if that is what you’re referring to. That’s actually a spot where the vulture can pull ahead. I would really just need to determine how much time it takes to get 1 rmc for the vulture then that should give a rough estimate based on the boxes for each of these jobs.
Have you considered running The Wake of Disaster mission, to see how much you get out of it? I have been hesitant, because 200K is a considerable amount to invest
It’s open to everyone on the server at the same time, so you’ll be open to piracy and such. So, I don’t usually do it until late server time, and I have to keep an eye out.

i would find so much quant and maze in c2's that i made 200 million just on that i wouldn't salvage it id take the quant and maze and dump the rest never found eggs in legal cargo tho and i only did legal cargo/ check the c2's not necessarily for scrapping id love to se what cargo they have now

Use Lagrange points or the belt and scan for panels or ships. It is free and provides WAY more RMC.

I got a job for a Mercury Star Runner that was actually quite good, i think it has better values than the Valk or at least equivalent.

I’ve only really noticed it on the 300s but I have seen weird numbers pop up from time to time, so sometimes is definitely going on
