You always think so out of the box with your color combinations on flowers and they are always stunning!!!! Just gorgeous! Ive only used a layering stencil once. I don’t even know if I have more than 4; slimline included! But this is a wonderful way to use them! Beautiful Marion!

If you have the room, I take a cheap baking pan that’s 8x8 I think, and I put a touch of dish soap in there and set it on a towel on my work area. I set it at the furthest end of the towel and as soon as I’m done with a stencil I put it in the dishwater. If I want to use the stencil again, I take it out and lay it on the towel and flip up the end that’s hanging down and dry it and start over. Super easy! Holds a lot of stencils.
Any tips for getting rid of the residue that pixie spray leaves on stencils…
The residue builds up and practically ruins the dies…
@@lianealbert7728 I used it once and I guess I didn’t clean it well enough. At that time I just used a bAby wipe and it was awful! I tried straight alcohol and nothing took that off! I asked Cathy Zielske about it. She said if I remember right, that it can stay on there a little bit but it doesn’t hurt anything. Well I didn’t use that for a very very very long time, but recently I did with having the soapy water pan next to me and when I was done I put it in there. When I finished all I was doing I took it to the sink and use a brush and bit of dish soap on it and it came right off. I think the trick is getting it into water right away. The way I do it now is great. I did paste with one stencil on 14 cards and never changed the water. I let it drip off over the pan for the next stencil, laid it on the part of the towel that was sticking out from under the backing pan and dried it off each time. No problem. I did not use pixie spray that time but I know it would have worked. This was also a slimline stencil in the 8x8 pan. I just slipped it in and out a couple times then let it soak until the next card was set up.

Hi Liana, I just use soapy water, never use a baby wipe, I don’t have much luck with pixie spray if I’m using embossing.powder as it sticks everywhere 🙈🙈🙈🥰🥰
@@lianealbert7728 try lemon juice and/or bicarbonate - it’s amazing what they remove without ruining

Is't it easier, for lining up your stencils, to put the stencils in one of the misty corners? You can put the paper under it, where you want it... PS love your channel 👍
She might be able to, but because she's overlapping the stencils on the paper, it creates a problem. She could do a quarter turn, but then the stencil might not clear the hinge of the Misti or perhaps would lay over the opposite edge and not lay flat. By placing it in the center, she can shift the stencil whichever way and therefore have enough around the edge to not interfere with the Misti platform. Does that make sense? 🤷😉😊
