United wore this white kit for four season (2nd kit 1988-90, 3rd kit 1990-92). Haven't checked, but I reckon that must be the last time any team in the top division retained a kit for that long.
Absolutely classic West Ham, bottom of the League, great football, epic determination, crap finishing (apart from one by K.Brown Jnr). We got relegated Man Ure didn't win the League (Dirty Leeds did)
A great game in a crap season, but what a night it was. 33,000 shouting handball against Hughes in the dying moments, Magic. Thing I remember the most is 33,000 Happy Hammers Signing "we are bottom the league" just after Kenny's goal. COYI
Not in this one, Paul Ince didn’t return until 94. Got absolute dogs abuse throughout the game, will never forget the boos ring out upon his first touch of the ball. And then, he went and scored an 86th minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw, in front of the United fans.
Nothin has changed, Man U, ye either love them or hate them. That was a terrible season for the hammers. Will you ever forget the nutbag throwing the chewing gum at Ian Bishop as he was about to take the corner. He lifted it and put it in his mouth. He was one cool dude!!!

Miss the North Bank. UP was never the same without it.
Brilliant! Ludos save from Hughes overhead was world class.
Nice to see the excerpts again. was then for the first time in London and at the game
Think this is the only match United wore white in between the CWC final in May 1991 and a match at Villa in September 1996.
Fantastic stat if that’s true
and the shirt that they wore here was from 1988 season.
@@priceyhammer2624 Turns out I'm wrong. They also wore it at Villa in August 1991. (which should have been obvious if I'd stopped to think about it!)
I miss Bishop, his passing was beautiful
Thanks for putting this up, I was in the south bank that night, what a game!!
I was on the north bank👍👍⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒
@@martinosborne2842 great times!

+Alec Keeler Yes indeed. Only be eclipsed by 95 with the Ince and his runners up medal! Happy days.

Was there 'INCEY WHAT'S THE SCORE, INCEY INCEY WHAT'S THE SCORE'

Giggs flagged offside in his own half? FFS
A black night for Manchester.
Best two goalies to ever play in Premier league
Worst coach journey ever back to Manchester that night.
Kenny Brown!
Is this upton park ground jus asking
If only West Ham put in as much effort in their other games, must have been non triers.
Na, we just fucking hate Man Utd, have done for decades, and it predates the fergie years!
CLIVE GLOVER, MAN LOVER
i'm forever blowing bubbles
4:48 Never offside…
