Just an fyi boys take longer to potty train don’t feel frustrated they are lazier and don’t mind being wet most of the time. Lol. We did regular underwear which helped during the day. Now at night was a different issue. Mine was such a sound sleeper we had to use a device recommended by the pediatrician you slide in the underwear and at night when they start to pee it sounds an alarm and wakes them up and they use the toilet. Mine was 4 and that was the only way he trained at night. Patience is a virtue.

The underwear you bought your son is exactly what you are supposed to use. I used them for my son when he was potty training. He will still be able to feel that he had an accident but it won't be so messy that you constantly have to clean up the accidents. And I know you said you aren't but for anybody watching this please don't potty train your children outside. There are too many predators and you never know who is one and who isn't because not everyone gets caught so they may not be on the registry.

Yes. Your baby is two. He’s so little. The device was a last ditch effort at 4. Your baby has plenty of time.
