The PFT Instruction Question, Hesitation can affect the Extrapolation Volume more than not blowing fast. If you can Imagine, if a patient is Hesitating to blast the air, he/she might start slow then after a second, starts blasting it. I personally would teach him to "Don't Hesitate". "Blow faster" will raise the Peak Flow, not reduce the time to reach it. In my experience, "Don't hold your breath" can also work in reducing the Extrapolation Volume. Please correct me if you find my statement wrong. Thanks
