@@emperium6224 try boating out a rig 200yrds on a weedy big pit in big winds and see how far your 4oz lead gets you. You’ll wake up in the morning and they’ll be 100yrds from where you dropped em. Saying he uses 10oz leads all the time is rubbish. Just gotta use the right tools when needed. You sound like someone who just fishes tiny little mud holes.

Well explained Dave. I use the bag clips for my Barbel fishing, Great little invention.
The system i'm using 90% of the time. None has been more successful for me.

Barbel anglers have been using this swivel clip for years and a running backstop as been around since the early eighties so hardly anything new here
It's not a bad rig for short range but no good for long range

@@richardparsons369the lead is is drilled on the underside... Leader passes through the top swivel then plugged to the new hole on the heavier end.
Surely on the cast the lead wants to fly back up the leader towards the rod????
