FILM DESCRIPTION : Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) lost the fight to Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) but learns that Apollo thought he did a hell of a job. The defeated Rocky marries Adrian (Talia Shire), buys a sports car and is a hero in his Philadelphia neighborhood. Doctors advise Rocky that his injured eye could lead to blindness if he fights again. Rocky agrees to make some commercials, but is disgusted by the degrading junk he is asked to perform, and quits. No money...no job... and a wife to support. He sells his beloved car. But the victorious Apollo Creed has a problem too. he is being ridiculed for letting "such a bum" go the distance with him. Apollo wants a rematch to prove that Rocky's showing was a fluke. Against his wife's wishes, Rocky agrees to fight Apollo again.
If Rocky doesnt motivate you to train , then nothing will.

I Heard this Song and started Running 2 miles
This makes me wanna run around my school field for hours but when I try it I end up running for 30 seconds and my lungs start feeling like there gonna explode
Exactly
Correct
I will always have fond memories of this day. I was an extra... one of the hundreds of kids running behind Rocky. 🏃♀️ I was 9 years old and my brother was 7 years old. Technically my brother was to young to go, but my mom said I could not go if I did not take my brother. Guess what? He went and we had the time of our lives!! I am sitting here currently watching Rocky 1. I am thankful to have been a part of Rocky 2 not matter how small the part. 🙏🏽

Except these day, a grown man saying "come on" to a group of young children as he leads them away from their home/neighbourhood, would be treated with great suspicion and perhaps even a visit from the police afterwards.
This story about an ordinary, small man, boxer, who manages to reach the stars with his talent, effort and hard work - always brings tears to my eyes. Rocky is one of the best movie stories ever ...

One of the greatest movie scenes ever. I remember everyone in the movie theater cheering. When Stallone was born they had to use two sets of forceps to deliver him and his vocal chords were damaged. Other children made fun of his slurred speech, so he got interested in boxing and weightlifting to build his confidence. And the world got Rocky Balboa. 🥰

Kid in the back saying “GO ROCK GO GOOO” makes it so much better❤
To see others cheering him on to prep up for his fight while running with him was awesome I bet that gave them a lot of motivation to push themselves and give them exercises like it does for me...when I'm running I forget about all my problems my truma, by working them out unleashing steam off my brain so I'd feel better where I imagine escaping my old life heading my way to freedom and happiness . What I find quite remarkable is that the kid in the orange jacket doesn't even "fade" after his sprint. it is useless to argue, this scene is really exciting and really involves you as few scenes have ever managed to do in the whole history of cinema and this also helps you not to consider those moments which, honestly, are a little too unrealistic - like that of the racing with the children in the middle of strangely empty streets without traffic - taking these things away the video is perfect and is built through a crescendo that really grabs you;
1. he leaves from "his" home and starts running through "his" neighborhood and shows it as it really is (a perfect choice that demonstrates great honesty and also serves to frame Rocky's character, who he is, from which environment he comes, because he fights etc.) and while he is crossing "his" neighborhood, someone from the neighborhood - another touch of realism - recognizes him and greets him - because they are from the same neighborhood and therefore it is obvious that we all know each other at least a little and say hello - then he crosses a local market where, since there are more people (it is obvious and very natural and realistic), many more recognize him and greet him also because they are Italian like him - and here, excuse me, but the image of him he runs with that splendid, very engaging basic music framed between two Italian flags and greeted by other Italians, to me who is Italian he has a wonderful effect - then the scene with the children who follow him, first a few, then always re more until almost an ocean behind him - a little exaggerated ok but in the scene he is trying to keep up with him and here two more touches of realism: 1. the benches, which only Rocky overcomes momentum and in succession, 2. that when Rocky, having reached the final straight line, accelerates and progresses, no one can stand beside him and the last child, the fastest, almost throws him for the final sprint shouting "run, run, run" and there is almost a final explosion of energy with which Rocky "burns" the final stretch of the path and jumps the steps overcoming them in groups of five, all then masterfully accompanied by an energetic, gritty and engaging song like few others ... and sorry for the length of the comment but the scene deserved all the attention and care possible and a little more than the five or ten minutes usually used to write and post a comment.
It's 2023, and still is one's of the Best movie's theme of all times. ROCKY FOREVER!
