Watched this movie and the first one today, and watching this scene nearly made me cry. It’s so satisfying seeing him achieve something with the support of everyone. Already one of my favorite films of all time.
the first Rocky, and the final one, Balboa, are the best movies. Stallone wrote the script for the first movie and kept pitching it to hollywood, but they wanted to cast someone else as the lead. He knew it was meant for him, so he was homeless, even had to sell his dog to get some living money. One studio eventually let him be the main character in the script he wrote, and the rest is his story. and he even managed to buy back his dog. Stallone was not happy with Rocky 5 as being the ending, so he wrote Balboa, and that is one of the most amazing movies because it's not about how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Keep moving forward
What's even more extraordinary than this scene is the lack of negativity in the comments section. No trolls, no agenda's or disagreements.

Rocky: How many kids are going to run behind me ?
Director: Yes
Lol
Stallone is the director of this movie
rokool
He was his own director for this film, so I guess a schizophrenic discussion led to this lol
idurisu Sylvester?
The kids running in the back wasn't planned it just happend.
It’s 2023 and we still watching this. What a legend.

No, this feels more EEUU than EEUU on July 4th.

Yeah Italians, so American. Cant get anymore American than an Italian flag amirite
The part where the kids joined him is the most heart-warming 😊
It was a bad mistake by watching this at 2 AM. Where’s my shoes now ?

Wow I too am watching it at 2 am, 2 months later.
That kid in red jacket running behind Sly will always be a legend to me.

1:40 is a tear jerker shot for sure. To have a whole city running behind you who believe in you like that is LEGENDARY💯💯💯
It even hits harder if you think how much lonely he was in first part...
it was such a good scene with how it contrasts him running the same route in the first movie completely alone
My favorite scene with kids yelling go go go...great
1:40 its 2am..that kid shouting Go Rocky Go got me hyped..now i can't sleep! 🤣🤣🤣
Love that part, with the engaging music It feel so powerful that you think Rocky was about to take off
Hes saying no no no because rocky was beating him
I think the kid that screams "go rocky go go go go GOOOOOOO" represents his younger self who's motivating him to keep going after all he had been through. It always brings me to tears😭😭😭😭😭😭
That's what matters bro To keep up listening our Inner child.🥺
@@Jena_999 So so true brother. God bless
If I remember he was told to slow down cause he was too fast, I think they added the "go" to make sense of why he's the last one to keep up with rocky
I feel the same
If you don't wanna go for a run after watching this there is something wrong with ya.
Ikr
this movie already inspired me to start running
it's the reason i started boxing
Seriously.. It's 1:12 AM and I want to go for a run :D

Rockys movies are One of best movies made and a motivator for me to start bodybuilding. I also when to Philly and ran up those stairs in ‘82
Best scene ever! Nothing dare to compare to this!

Having been born and raised in Philly and knowing where these locations are, his run would have to have been an absolute world record, the man zig/zags across so many neighborhoods it is insane and the distance is hilarious, even with that I still get chills, the music, the moment, it is all great!!!
I dont think he even stopped to breath until he was at the stairs!

It's an example of the unity and solidarity that humanity can have - brought together by 2 minutes of a fictional character simply running on the streets. Thank you Rocky. Thank you Sly.
Go go go gooooooooooo!
Rock nunca vai ser esquecido motivação, atemporal...

Rocky is the only being in the universe that one day will beat the cameraman

I like this guy because to hardworking to success the future
Wow...no matter how many years go by, this scene will never old..l get goosebumps when he speeds through that roundabout and the hoards of children running along with him in the background. It's just such an inspiring and powerful scene.
