I’m in the same boat as “Uncle Larry”. Same cancer, different treatments, and fighting for 10+ years. My eyesight is still good until I watched this video, (my eyes kept watering for some reason, maybe allergies). Thanks for sharing. I’ve loved watching your shows especially with Uncle Larry. Thank you so much. I hope I have a few years left (I’m 53) to hunt elk. Thank again.

Absolutely awesome video! My Uncle Craig passed away this past May. I was very close with him. I did numerous moose and deer hunts with him from age 18 to 40. I also went fishing with him a lot from age 12 to 40! I bought his old Dodge truck off of him about 10 months before he passed. Now I'm planning to fix it up, body, paint and all as my bush rig to keep his memory alive and well! Hell of a nice bull Uncle Larry!

Hi Randy, great story and fantastic hunt. Love the way you tell a story. I have had the same experience with my father-in -law bouncing around the AZ high country. He passed back in 2015 and this episode took me back to a time when life and hunting was really good. Good times on the hunt with people we love and know are in the twilight of their lives. Good stuff and great memories for a lifetime

Granted when he shot and that cow was there holy moly I was you are so lucky. PHEW. Randy you are a special person just like Larry. My ol man hits 70 next year sob can still out hike me at 34 I love seeing our young man dream men still out there and doing what we do ailment or not much respect and keep at it it’s what my dad says keeps you still young even with poor eyesight and hearing us young bucks can still learn a thing or two so keep notes boys and girls❤
I have to say my heart sank at the title of this video. So glad to find out this is his “last” elk hunt because he thinks it’s best to retire from it than that he lost his fight with cancer. He IS a tough old guy and he might just change his mind about being done.🤞If he does, tell him to listen a little better next time.😂
