A large part of having a boat is having options. Nobody likes to get away from crowds more then life by the bow but how they said you have to mix in a little crazy everyone once in a while

I was at key largo that weekend got to the beach there were like 30 boats already there i felt like turning around. had fun but if i would have seen this i would have dipped. I get anxiety thinking my boat is going to hit another one. I just need more practice anchoring in a crowd.
rightfully so, these sandbar parties are fun, but its always drunk captains making their way in and out of areas they have no business being in. Many cut anchor lines, most of the time its a pissing contest anyways. My recommendation, is go early, and try to make some boating friends to tie onto, that always makes it less stressful

I had the same boat as you (Invincible Cat now) Get 2 8ft pole anchor poles as it is so much easier than using a stern anchor and holds the gamefish 27 perfectly.
@@MiamiLiving305 ya ok lol I’m here Atlantic one side caribe the other. In a bay with many other sailboats and it all gets pumped into the water , tides take it but you know what lol tides bring it back too not many swim in this bay 🤮 I use my dinghy to go out of this bay to swim Grenada
I would just annoy the heck out of the other boats and crank up Motley Cru, Def Leppard, Poison, Rush, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Phil Collins, there would be nothing with a Caribbean flavour!!! 😂😂😂.

@@MiamiLiving305 Don't act stupid ,at no time did I say the Atlantic ocean around Miami was polluted or any other part of the ocean, I'm a lifelong Floridian of 70 years ,was a lifeguard for 11 of those years and I know for a fact, when you have a few thousand folks concentrated in one area the are drinking therefore peeing ,which as I said it makes that water (IN THAT AREA) like a toilet. So now by all means be quiet it just makes you look really silly.
Love the content! I am considering buying my first boat but I did not see any jet boats in the video. Am I missing something? Are they not good for the sandbars?
They are but they are not popular down here because since it not a lake and its the ocean there is usually some waves in the ocean side and jet boats do not do good in waves also most people in the keys love fishing, we have some of the best fishing in the US so people tend to have Center Consoles for the dual purpose. Also Jet Boats do not do good in seaweed either

Yes its first come first serve. I Usually only get blocked in during Holidays because on regular weekends if there is space next to you usually a boat won't get right in front of you

I usually like your videos, and this one is shot well. I just don’t understand how a fisherman would want to condone this huge cesspool of trash and human waste being concentrated in one area. It cannot be good for the fish or environment. I bet there is a bunch of trash and plastic found in the water the next day. Keep that crap up in Miami and leave the Keys pristine!
I have never seen trash floating around nor have a ever stepped on a can or bottle in my years of going their. People here as much as they drink and party are also concerned with cleaning up for themselves. These people are boaters not Music Festival Fans
This gathering must adversly impact the environment with all the sunscreen, beer cans, food refuse, leaking oil from bilges, urine, trash left behind. Must look like a disaster area after everyone leaves.

That's is all it is with time the anxiety goes down and ability goes up. You can not be scared to be outside your comfort zone.

Many do so as I have that in my playlist also. But when you have a 43ft boat with a 50k sound system it’s hard to over power it
