The beginning of the video reminded me of my late husky, the last year of his life. The vet said it was a type of "doggie Alzheimer's" caused by his elevated liver enzymes. He would walk into corners and walls and just stand there staring! He was 14 when it started. He had to be put down at approximately 15 😭 have you talked to your vet about it?

Sherpa’s episodes are exactly what our sheltie is behaving like. However, Sherpa has strong back legs and that is a blessing . Our old sheltie is very weak in the hind quarter. Breaks my heart to see our buddies aging. Pain meds are helping. Every day is a gift.

Sherpa, my goodness ! My heart goes out to you having those weird episodes. I'm so thankful you have the loving dad you do. Nook is looking good too. Sherpa never loose that loving smile 💖💖
Jamie, maybe you should have Sherpa's eyes checked. I noticed when you put the little steps next to the van, that he at first, seemed like he didn't see it. The 2nd time, he was really judging the distance, backing up and going forward. My friend's dog does this too, and he has cataracts.
I love seeing both Nook and Sherpa run and play like that. It breaks my heart to see Sherpa having difficulty getting into the van. It may be time to get a ramp for him.
we had an elderly dog, she was 21 years old and was doing much as sherpa is doing. She was struggling to judge things, slowing down. The vet said its even possible she had a dementia going on. It didn't stop her living the last of her life to the fullest i can tell you.

Hey Barbara hope you're having a lovely week 😊
@@SherpasDay enjoy your weekend ♥️♥️
So glad to see these two frolicking again. Love the stairs! ❤
Sherpa waking up looks like me before having my coffee 😂😂
I just want to give Sherpa a big hug! We know getting older is hard, but you enjoy every minute together and know the world loves you Sherpa! 🐺❤️🍑
Aww Sherpa bless him, it's concerning when they have a turn. So lovely to see him back to his playful self afterwards!
🐺💙😘 Wow! Straight up those stairs! ☺️👍 X
Aw hey 👋
@@SherpasDay 👋 Hey! 😁
I love how he will show off for his grandma. Have you thought of a puppy to help Sherpa lift up his spirits 😊
Poor Sherps. It's tough getting old. He has his spells I guess. He wasn't sure about the new steps was he? He will get used to it. Always a joy to see Nook. Stay healthy you two. Love you both.
It's so sad and upsetting to see poor Sherpa when he is poorly. It was lovely to see him running round and digging later on. Sending hugs to you both and special ones for Sherpa. 😍❤️💕💖🤗
Sherpa’s episodes are exactly what our sheltie is behaving like. However, Sherpa has strong back legs and that is a blessing . Our old sheltie is very weak in the hind quarter. Breaks my heart to see our buddies aging. Pain meds are helping. Every day is a gift.
Hope your both OK Jamie, hugs to you all
Hey Lindzy 😊
@Sherpa’s Day. Was happy Sherpa snapped out of his daze, and had fun with Nook.
I was close to tears when i saw Sherpa having a turn remind me of my dog Rosie when she has her seizures. Its scary. But for Sherpa he's got family time with Nook which he seemed to snap out of it. 🥰
Sweet Sherpa. Love the family time. Hugs to you both.💜💜💜
Aw thankyou Kathy 😊
Love you Sherpa 💗😞🙏
Uncle David 😊😊😊 hey 👋
@@SherpasDay hiya Jamie old friend!👋😁
I noticed the new little ramp in the Van in yesterdays video 😉❤
Haha well spotted 😊
@@SherpasDay He he 😉
Sherpa, my goodness !
Excellent idea!✅
I love seeing both Nook and Sherpa run and play like that. It breaks my heart to see Sherpa having difficulty getting into the van. It may be time to get a ramp for him.
we had an elderly dog, she was 21 years old and was doing much as sherpa is doing. She was struggling to judge things, slowing down. The vet said its even possible she had a dementia going on. It didn't stop her living the last of her life to the fullest i can tell you.
I'd have Sherpa checked. He may have had a seizure.
Sherpa is so so cute ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aw thanks Beth 😊

Poor Sherpy! I was quite worried seeing him so out of it. Normally he's so excited to see Granny and Nook. I know I'm new here but he's so adorable.
