Beautiful Baby Co-ord Set Cutting & Stitching | DIY Very Easy Baby Co-ord set design
Welcome back to my channel! In today’s video, I will show you how to make a beautiful baby co-ord set with simple cutting and stitching techniques. This step-by-step DIY tutorial is beginner-friendly, so let’s get started!
Materials Required:
• Fabric (soft cotton or printed fabric)
• Measuring tape
• Scissors
• Sewing machine
• Matching thread
• Elastic (for waist if needed)
• Chalk or fabric marker
Step 1: Taking Measurements
• Measure your baby’s chest, waist, length of top, and pants.
• Add 1-2 inches for seam allowance in all measurements.
Step 2: Cutting the Fabric
For the Top:
• Cut a front and back panel (as per chest width and desired length).
• Cut sleeves (measure arm length and width).
• Add neckline and armhole curves.
For the Pants:
• Cut two fabric pieces for pants shape (length + seam allowance).
• Shape the crotch curve.
• Add extra fabric for an elastic waist if needed.
Step 3: Stitching the Top
• Join shoulders with a straight stitch.
• Attach sleeves on both sides.
• Sew side seams of the top.
• Finish the neckline with piping or bias tape.
Step 4: Stitching the Pants
• Join the crotch area first.
• Stitch the side seams of both legs.
• Fold the waistband, insert elastic, and stitch.
• Hem the bottom edges neatly.
Step 5: Final Touches
• Add lace, piping, or buttons for decoration.
• Iron the set for a polished look.
