Rolling through the Veto bag videos! That TPXL is awesome, I’m using the TPXXL now, it’s quite a bit bigger though but does let you carry a couple meters which is nice.
A great bag , I gave mine to a former helper ( now a very accomplished Tech ) , I plan to replace it with the new TPXXL ! I need a bit more size , and I like the under the left shoulder carry , and I need to have room for a largish IPad ( 11” IPad Pro ) , or small laptop . ) . I’ve owned a short Platoon of Veto bags over the years !
I have this...a TP4B, and a Tech MCT... all of them for different purposes. I typically use my TP4B as my quick bag but I have thought about switching to this one for a little more room.
I've been using it since it came out, added a mb2 to the side and it's just about right for my calls. Tempted to get the tpxxl though but I'm waiting to see one 1st hand.

How does the quality compare between the veto stuff and the velocity 4.5? Would you say on par quality and comes down to size and layout, or is one brand clearly better quality build?
I personally feel that obviously these two aren't comparible as one is a back pack and one is a service pouch but if you compare brands the veto stands out.
I’m waiting for the tp-xxl to get more readily available. Has separate meter pouches and the v swap system. The v swap pannel can be removed and that way it’ll fit an m12 impact with 6ah battery!! As a gas engineer I carry a lot of test equipment. A regular service needs a flue gas analyser, manometer, explosive gas detector and a multimeter. So the room would be most welcome.
@@bloodsongsToolreviews ah man those videos used to make me travel sick. I have limited space to record where I work from so it's hard to get the angle just right. I will have a play with it and see if I can improve it. I uploaded an initial video with it zoomed into the bag a bit but the quality suffered
@@danstoolroom7700 if you could find a way to get closer at a 45 degree angle prehabs setting it up on the work bench with the camera facing across the bench at the bag
@@danstoolroom7700 You can shoot some B-roll of the bags internals and the tools etc and then edit the b roll into the video while you’re talking about it and that way you can have the camera where you need it to be to record the main shot and audio track. Works really well and isn’t too difficult to pull off 😊
23 pockets inside indeed. 4 outside on the side, plus the D rings, plus the clip on brackets. (tip from me and my boss, if you have one of those stablia pocket levels, you'll have to either sand down or cut off the little internal clip that holds the level in it's holster. As when you try to pull it out while it's clipped on the bag, it gets stuck in the holster ;-) you'll see what I mean if you have one)
@@jayjayripoff I do have the Stabila Pocket Pro Magnetic Level and it’s very tough to pull out of the case while attaché has to my bag. I noticed it’s rubbing and starting to make marks on the level unless I push it back while pulling it out. I’ll take your advice that may be the fix. That clip on the Stabila is the toughest I’ve ever worked with. Takes a good amount of work to even put it on something ridged. I also have the Stabila torpedo level with the angel adjustment.
@@realstaceylewis yeah, I just carefully scored that little internal clip with my knife, and pushed it back and fourth till I just snapped it off. Clip it back on the bag and it just slides in and out easy. I plan on using a thin piece of the soft side of some hook and loop, along the inside sides to try an secure it in the holder without locking it in the holder. Might work. :-)

The tpxxl looks amazing. I tried the tp xl. Was a little too small. I do apartment maintenance and it's unbelievable how many tools I use. Day

I will say with the new way you do these videos we can't actually see the interior of the bag and if I wanted to buy a bag id want to see it

Don’t see 23 pockets on the inside. Maybe you misspoke. It may have 23 pockets overall but not inside.
It is advertised by veto as having 23 internal pockets and 7 external pockets
