I love your teachings and how the Holy Spirit reveals truth through your obedience! I Believe it would help a lot of us who are still lost and want to be saved by knowing the meanings behind these important teachings in the Bible. One of the things that is always, held me back is my desire to honor my heritage and ancestors. I know that they practiced we called today, magic, which helped many of them escape slavery. I personally believed that we were told not to use it, just like we were not allowed to read and write to decrease our power and continue enslavement for over 400 years. It REALLY confuses me when the Bible acknowledges that wizards were allowed to honor the baby Jesus Christ with gifts and spend time with him. THEY WERE ALLOWED TO AND EVEN ASSISTED BY ANGELS OF GOD. What do you think they are doing with baby Christ? Do you think they visited him for 20 minutes and left or do you think they did a ritual with him like a Christening maybe? Why would God allow wizards or magicians around such a pure Christ if it were not good for him? Just with that process alone, I find myself stuck. Why wouldn’t it be Holy church priest as his first visitors or some other divine status healer? Why Would magicians who were destined to be called evil in the future be the son of God’s 1st visitors? This also lets me know the usage of reading the stars was a benefit to the church not a negative and we are now told by the church. Why were they protected by the angel of God and why were they allowed to find baby Jesus and not prevented, if it wasn’t for the benefit of Christ in someway? Why was it important enough for it to be included in the Bible, but now you see the Bible shy away from even mentioning they were magicians at all now. I find it strange that the first visitors that baby Jesus had were magicians who had similar demonstrations of power and no one can conclude that they bestowed any spiritual gifts upon him the same way they gave him physical gifts. They honored Jesus Christ they weren’t just Saying hello welcome to the neighborhood. They considered him their Messiah and they were magicians. I’m not into magic, but I feel betrayal in this area.
