In the Gospel of Luke, ten men with leprosy approached Jesus, desperately seeking healing. They stood at a distance, as was required by law, but with voices full of hope, they cried out, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" Jesus, moved by their faith, instructed them to go and show themselves to the priests. As they obeyed, they were miraculously healed. This story highlights the power of faith and obedience, and it also underscores the deep compassion of Jesus, who reached out to those society often shunned. Only one of the ten, a Samaritan, returned to thank Jesus, demonstrating not only the importance of faith but also the significance of gratitude.
