One thing that bothered me is that Alaska was the first one to preach about choosing who gets eliminated based on the challenge but the second SHES the one that does bad she starts whining and even offered detox $$(and don't say she was kidding around bc we all know it didn't sound like that)
Yeah I tought she was kidding until I didn't even hear so much as a giggle. I was just surprised that she would bribe her way to safety.
Claudia I noticed that too. She always had this power stigma and tried to control the girls and "hear their plead" but when it was time for her she just starts breaking down. Nobody did that the entire season.
Alaska throwing a hissy fit in the workroom, is just not cute. Then again the meltdown resulted from her shock bcs she's been slaying throughout the competition, she's unprepared to hit the low point.
In my observation, one thing about Alaska; she's very determined. She really wants that crown, more than the rest of the girls. It's like a deep rooted personal conviction for her to win. I remember seeing the Season 5 live crowning reaction video, when Ru announced Jinkx's win, Alaska couldn't hide her dissapointment; she was BAWLING. There's probably this thing with her ex Sharon Needles, with the fact that Sharon only auditioned once for Season 4, and she ended up winning the whole thing, whereas Alaska had been auditioning for every single season, and only made it after her ex boyfriend's year.

This episode made me angry. Not only did Katya YET AGAIN lose a lip sync, Alyssa's elimination was completely unwarranted. Roxxxy more than outstayed her welcome. Also it really opened my eyes to how entitled and arrogant Alaska is

Poor Roxxy, she's getting swept up in the mess. I do think her time's well overdue, but she knows it too and I don't think she's there by her own choosing or deception. This has been such a boring, cliche season thanks to the over control / production. This stupid vote each other out thing. Ugh. I am team Katya, yes, but I was team Katya, Alyssa, Tati, Alaska - didn't really care as they're all great entertainers. Literally made me cry, this episode! Gawd, Alyssa being robbed on the anniversary of her mother's death? ROLASKATOX is awful!
I am blaming:
1) Ru Paul for not choosing a bottom two. Alyssa should have been safe.
2) Katya not winning two consecutive lip sync battles, which empowered RoLaskaTox two weeks in a row. TBH, though, I thought she should have won both times.
3) RoLaskaTox suggesting a pact to play kind games, but never following it.

but then again, eliminating g the biggest challenger is probably what every queen was doing since episode 4. there is no rules on to who to eliminate, the queens are free to eliminate anyone in the competition. Again, its a competition.
That's why I feel like it was dodgy! She got really good critiques, so it should have been a bottom two. It's the same thing when Alaska eliminated Tattianna for the first time - 2/3 of Trollaskatox were in the bottom 3... Go figure
That's why I blame Ru (and producers). Alyssa should have been safe this episode.
However, I am pissed at Alaska because she obviously eliminates competition, but she tries to justify it with bullshit reasoning. At least Detox was honest, which I appreciate. I understand that it's a competition, I would chop off competition - but I don't appreciate queens lying about it.

#TeamKatya Pandora was a really good person to interview for this episode. She was very fair (even though I'm still hating the Rolaskatox aspect of the competition).
This season is almost over, but the fact that Tati, Alyssa and Katya are being robbed made them winners and gave them an incredible popularity boost. No matter who gets crowned, every single Drag Race viewer knows who the real winners and the real losers (Roloskatox) are.
If Katya isnt crowned after she got SO MANY MORE votes than all the others combined, then this competition is truly Rigga Morris.

It wasn't the whole "I'll pay you thing" that bothered me (that could so easily be fake), it was her entire demeanour. The way she conducted herself and the fact that she threw a tantrum like a child.
We all have bad days that don't necessarily define our character, but it definitely makes me see her differently. She's a grown ass man, she knew what she was saying when she said it, and Alyssa was so pleasant even though she was grieving and for alaska to say that? gross. have some perspective lasky.
This season started with so much potential lol it's a shame, and this is coming from a huge Rolaskatox fan .... they fucked it up.

I cried when Alyssa was chosen. She did not deserve to go. The Rolaskatox friendship pissed me off so much.
I think Alaska or Katya could win. They were both said by fans to have been "robbed" on their seasons, so people have obviously thought that both of them should've won in the past. Also they have both done very well in the competition, being top two in nearly every episode. They both have great potential and both completely deserve it. I would be 100% happy with either of them winning

i love all the queens and think all of them are super talented but roxxxy has been in the bottom 5 out of 7 time she need to be gone after her 3rd time in the bottom. I'm just going to say it, Roxxxy shouldn't be there. If her "friends" didn't save her every episode she's been in the bottom she wouldn't be there. I get it if it was the first time for her to be in the bottom, but girl it's been four to five times that Roxxxy was in the bottom. I'm not trying to hate but there's a bunch of other girls that could have done better and left due to this "friendship."

Trixie is a comedy queen... And frankly, that would be boring as fuck. This season didn't have that many comedy queens anyway, save for Alaska, Ginger, Detox and Katya. Then you have all the fashion queens like Tatianna, Coco, Phi'Phi, Roxxxy and Alyssa, so statistically speaking, there were more beauty queens than comedy.

I'm still conflicted about Alaska's tantrum. Producers/editors put that edit in for a reason. Either they wanted a more varied story arc before she wins, or perhaps a "the bigger you are, the harder you fall" kind of arc where her success made her prideful and set her up for disappointment and failure. Ultimately Katya deserves the crown. Social media has determined her by a landslide.

Is anyone else confused by how shocked Alaska was when Katya admitted to choosing Roxxxy to go home? Clearly Alaska is so biased at this point that she can't even see the mess that Roxxxy is this season (and she's one of my fav queens, so that's saying a lot).
I am over RoLaskaTox. Roxxxy should have gone home weeks ago. I would have been happy with Alaska winning, but episode 7 left a bad taste in my mouth. The top 4 should have been Tati, Alaska, Alyssa, and Katya. I just don't see Detox winning if Alaska is in the top 4.

Seeing Alyssa do well in a challenge with her sister and have her sent home on HER MOTHER'S DEATH ANNIVERSARY is something I will never get over. I still wonder what made Detox choose to save Roxxy before the finale knowing that Roxxy doesnt stand a chance to win at that point. Extended exposure? To have a happy Rolaskatox final 3? Tati certainly didn't need extra exposure to gain new fans (because they got rid of her of course). They're denying Roxxy a graceful exit. She's sweet and talented and certainly rudeemed herself, but she should have gone home. I'd rather see her eliminated but with a good run and new fans like Tati than have people hate her for being saved instead of more deserving queens like Tati and Alyssa.

if Alaska can learn anything from Alyssa, it's her professionalism. Being in the bottom after series of wins is no excuse to act that way. An all stars should not only be talented but she also should know how to cope with all kinds of situations.
Kittypeww I literally went from thinking she should win, to not wanting to follow any of her endeavors. Editing couldn't do as good of a job as Alaska did for screwing herself. I've been rooting for Katya, and now, even more.

This whole situation is so frustrating and pissing me off...Alaska is in no way a mean person so why is everyone acting like she is some kind of new Phi Phi 2.0 or something. Get over it people who hasn't been frustrated with themselves when you realize you didn't do as well as you know you could of. It's a normal reaction and I think it's even shadier of the producers to choose to show that moment and we probably only seen a portion of it...plus for all we know Alaska could have been acting that way because of direction from the producers...and it seems like a last minute sabotage by the editors/producers for some pay back for what alaska's asshole ex boyfriend did to her by leaking that information....it's messed up that I don't want Katya to win now because of how much her fans are putting Alaska down and gloating about Katya going to win because and I quote "Alaska is selfish and a bitch" it's a game people and they all want to win and are pissed when they don't do well..#truth
