Dimash is more classically trained. He does pop, but you can hear his classical training come out and he uses his whistle register a little more sparingly than Gabriel and he utilizes differently than Gabriel. Aside from both of them possessing this incredible ability, it really is an apples to oranges comparison between the two of them. They just sing differently from each. This amazing, magical man is a masterful vocal artist, not just a singer. He quickly became my favorite voice to listen to after I first heard him on AGT. Thankfully he didn't end up under their unscrupulous contract, but Hallelujah for the international exposure!! He's already left a legacy of music, and he's not even 30 years old yet. I saw someone type “autotune”. Gabriel does NOT use autotune ever. His pitch is really that perfect. Doubt me? Watch one of his performances that he did IN HIS CAR to prove to naysayers that he is the REAL DEAL. Real whistles. Real and true pitch and NO MICROPHONE. Just him. He is a beast and a phenom and a humble person to boot. He is a devout Christian and when he sings he has a spiritual anointing over his voice. There is no one like him in the world.
