That is the objective of the people who did this. But antifa and anarchists aren't the only participants in this mayhem. There's intel out there saying organized groups from the extreme fringes of both Left AND Right -- along with drug gangs taking advantage of the chaos to move product -- have been the instigators of all this vandalism and violence. Each has an agenda, one being to escalate the violence and property damage and then blame opposing groups for the damage and injuries. And the saddest part of all of this is that George Floyd has been drowned out under the coverage of the riots.
I think it's the right move on the part of the Trump Admin. to designate antifa as a terrorist organization; where he has failed is not designating the OTHER organized groups as terrorist organizations. These thugs run the political gamut and all should be treated the same. This carnage is not a Left or Right issue; it's a terrorism issue -- so many innocent business owners, many of whom were going broke waiting to open their businesses back up from COVID lockdown, and those businesses now will never open back up. And those people did nothing wrong, did nothing to deserve this. And the sad irony is that the small business owners, the single proprietorships, have been left penniless -- while the large corporate monoliths can absorb the cost of cleanup because they have pockets deep enough to do it. Another blow to small business and another boom for corporate giants. smh

Imagine the power we have given police, four people were able to fearlessly take their time snuffing out a citizens life in broad daylight in the presence of countless witnesses.
I say again, four people fearlessly murdered a man in broad daylight without fearing ANYONE stepping in to stop them. There was enough citizenry present to step in and force these officers to stop BUT for the power they wield over us mentally and physically.
Imagine the results if citizens had PHYSICALLY stepped in to stop police from giving George the boot? There would have been four people in uniform being held down instead and Mr. Floyd would be with us. Can you say 'systemic reform'?

This coverage is infuriating. "Oh my Banana Republic, my capitalist playground is ruined" People are rioting and looting because the government is not behaving. So why should they behave? No one is understanding they are acting out because they feel disenfranchised and not heard. Sure, violence is not the answer, but read between the lines! They are trying to hit the system where it hurts, where they know it will force society to listen: the market. It seems they value protection of merchandise for the wealthy more than the lives of the poor. Great job reinforcing this, KING5.

I'm still waiting to see a black person helping to clean up their city!! If they want their voice to be heard and be treated equally in their community then be part of the community. I do understand their voice needs to be heard and that George deserves justice. It was unbelievable that these police officers cared nothing about his life. The 4 police officers need to be held accountable. I will tell you at one time I wanted to be a Police Officer. I even finished my Criminal Justice Degree but after riding around with the police for some of my classes and experiencing what frustration they go through having to deal with the worst of society each and everyday I decided it was not for me.
I am 100% percent behind justice for George!!! and hopefully he will get it. Our adversaries in other countries are enjoying us tearing our communities apart. I remember hearing from one foreign leader about how he didn't have to do anything against America that he would just have to sit back and watch us destroy our self and I believe he is right.

Pot stores should have been closed prior to the protests, most of the violent protesters I bet they were stoned ..couldn't even shed tears on a teargas while the your reporter coughed like he is in critical COVID 19 end stage🙄

Its funny i recall hearing a black man whining about how blacks are so peaceful and nonviolent so why did the cops treat George Floyd they way they did. I dare you to ask that question today!

It was mostly white people who did not listen to black leaders of the peaceful protest. White people ignored the rules and now you are blaming black people.
