      Interesting, as I was listening to Palestinian Arabic which says 'jabin' for forehead.

    • @newcivilisation
      @newcivilisation 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You say 'saq' for leg instead of 'rijal' also.

    • @learnarabicwithfaten
      @learnarabicwithfaten  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, "Jabeen and rejel" words are in the Palestinian dialect and mine is in the Standard Arabic and both are correct..
      In my channel I speak and teach "Standard Arabic language", which is (Fus-hha فصحى) the original, the main and the basic language of all the 22 middle eastern countries, And it is used in schools, books, media, newspapers, websites, signs, religion, translation and you can say everywhere, which it means every Arab person totally understands it.. In each of the Arab countries there is so many different "dialects" and different words according to a city/village to another and all of these dialects are considered to be an Arabic language and under the main Standard Arabic language. Not every Arab person knows or understands every dialect and words of all the cities and villages of all the 22 Arab countries, but yes every Arab person can speak and understands Standard Arabic which is what i teach in my videos..

    • @newcivilisation

      Yes, I have heard in these years Moroccan, Egyptian, Syrian, Lebanese, Khaliji, Yemeni and Iraqi. I have a Bahraini friend who says that her Iraqi husband can't always understand words she uses and vice versa. Thank you for clarifying about MSA here and other dialects! Can I ask why these days the word 'rajal' is used for 'man' instead of mar'? Thanks again!
