Miami reminfs me of the LSU team of last year. The miami fans that ive talked to are not buying it until the see it.Great interview.Cant wait to see the Gator miami game to see what miami has.
The difference compared to previous years is the emphasis on OLINE and DLINE. Previous good classes had plenty of skill players but always lacked depth of talent on the lines. 2nd reason is the administration is spending money on the program for example they are returning both coordinators since 2017. Miami always lost plenty of coaches due to lack of payment to keep them. 3rd reason is a mobile QB that can turn bad plays into positive plays, Miami has had statues playing QB outside of 2017 and 2020 where they had the best two seasons in the last 20 years 10-3 and 8-3.
I will never underestimate the rivalry of Miami. Regardless of the year Miami is having they play probably their best football against FSU. Both Miami and Florida will forever make me nervous because of that deep seated rivalry and I could never predict who will win and who will lose. I certainly HOPE we win and I believe we can win but watching the games usually cause me to have mini heart attacks.
Man if Cam Ward is all that is advertised Canes are top 10 period!! I agree best team since 2004 especially on offense! 2016 and 2017 Defense was pretty good!
Miami is built to win the ACC. Miami has to get elite at the DT and WR positions as well as more overall team depth to truly compete for the national championship. #TheUIsBackToWork 🙌
Cam said that UM needed Sam Brown. Horton is not a step down. He doesn't have a lot of reps. Thats it. Xavier and Jacolby are ballers. Colbie and Brashard Smith were rugged and watch them at UGA and SMU. That receiver room was nails LAST season. Dawson should have worked Brashard in more. Cam better bring it, because he is chirping a lot. Matter of fact, going back to 1984, I haven't heard a UM QB talk so much shit before playing a snap. Go Canes.
Lol this fsu nerd nearly shit his pants when manny said he thinks they're going to get to the playoffs. His smile completely went away and took a big gulp. Lol
As long as Mario acts like a HC CEO by egolessly managing the clock and lets his OC & DC call their plays with the talent we got, the “U” will be competitive. 10-2 in 2024, with their first bowl win, 11-2. 2025 will be a monster year. Imagine the position competitions, with very few open positions, and lots of high quality depth. It’s All About Da U, Go Canes! Chi Cane
FSU lives on the edge of a lightning bolt of the transfer portal. If the portal guys hit, FSU will be good. If not, there isn’t any depth from traditional recruiting.
Name 1 new FSWHO transfer that is better than the one that left? Look at their roster and it is average. Travis & multiple players that left won them games on single game changing plays.
I do not think FSU was all the impressive last year. Nearly lost (should have lost) beat Clemson, survived a very bad Boston College team, beat a so so Miami Team at home (not impressive). I would hope Miami team this year is better than the FSU team last year. On paper the Miami players are better.
Up until this year I've always thought UM had an edge on FSU when it came to better players but I'm not sure about this year. We got a better coach that will develop the players better than Miami that's a given
@@marcjohnson8488 I believe this year more than ever Miami has better players. Maybe not as developed in the secondary but every other position I do not believe FSU has better players

This guy has zero reason to believe this Miami team is anywhere near as good as last years FSU team. You’ve watched a couple practices and you think they’re making the playoffs? Garbage analysis on its face. Where are their 10 NFL draft picks on this roster? Just blows my mind how every year Miami fans are the most confident fans in the country no matter what happened the year before.
Miami issue is coaching carousel and no continuity at qb. Can they win, stay healthy, protect the qb, play defense...yes, they could win but won't go undefeated like fsu....
They have improved the team extremely well. The offensive line gave up 14 sacks last season. Added a 1200 yard running back,800 yard receiver,3-4 starting defensive lineman, starting quarterback, linebacker, safety etc. Miami lost by 7 to Karen State starting 7 true freshman with a true freshman qb in his second start against all their superstars.
@palmbeachcane9523 correct, that is why continuity is important. Also, this same song and dance has been used the last 20 years. Sad to say, at VA Tech too. Good luck, Miami v tech early too
