Awe I cannot even explain how happy it makes me to see you all sat on that couch together 💛✨. Wishing we could pile in the community house with Oso and our little one too!! PS Sunny and Neo clips melt my heart so much!
I've lived alone for most of my adult life and love it. Community living sounds exhausting and I can't imagine doing so. Fascinating to see others doing it.
I agree that I SO love my alone time and time with my husband and dogs on our own. Not something I could even fathom as I’d be so anxious about being quiet, music choices, tv choices, food choices even with the best of our friends.
I've been following you and Steve since 2014, and I can't express how absolutely thrilled I am to witness the beautiful journey you both have embarked on, moving in together with your loving wives and adorable babies. Watching those heartwarming clips from 2004 and 2006 brought tears of joy to my eyes, making me acutely aware of just how swiftly time slips through our fingers. My heart is overflowing with an abundance of love for you and Steve. Your bond is a testament to the enduring power of friendship and the warmth of family, and it touches my soul in the most profound way. Here's to many more years of shared moments, laughter, and love. ❤
Oooh my word! Louis, Steve and Ben as babies!! Jeez I just realised how old I actually am and how big a piece of my life TH-cam and vlogers have been hahaa wild. Love that you guys moved in together btw! Living with chosen family in thoughtful community is something I think would really shift us all back into closer community and individual impact. So many pros! Talk out the challenges, find your spaces, and there's no reason it can't be an incredible experience for as long as you need it to be.
There are a lot of people who are sharing living spaces with others. Part of it is to save money, but I think it's also a response to the isolation of covid shutdowns. I lived alone for about 30 years, and never imagined living with anyone else. But just this year, I moved in with my sister (and her teenage son and a friend who stays here three nights a week for work). The key is being able to have my own completely separate space. I live in the basement, which is larger than most apartments. Almost 6 months in, and it's going really well!
I applaud you for doing this. It’s my worst nightmare to live with anyone else. I love people visiting and staying for a time but I’m also so relieved after they’ve gone and I can strut around my house with no clothes on without bumping into family or friends 🤣. It’s more than this obviously as I love spending quality time with my husband and dogs on our own without having to think of other people all the time. All power to you.
This made me realize I’ve been subscribed and watching for over 7 years. It’s flown by. It’s so great to see you all with kids and dogs and in this new phase of life. I love it!
I love this for you guys. Personally, I could think of nothing worse than sharing my sacred space full time with another couple but it’s amazing how different we all are! Wishing you lots of happy memories together 💕
I remember Steve and Alexia and omg this warms my heart to see how your friendship has grown. I shed a tear. Very beautiful. Thank you ALL for being such a source of inspiration. ♥️ big love
My husband and I invited our daughter, son in law, and 2 grandkids to live with us in our big house 15 years ago when they sold their tiny house. 7 years later they were still with us, and we wanted to sell. We looked at condos, but our daughter bought a house for all of us. 8 years later we are all still together (our grandson is at college). Sometimes shared living works well!
Living together is a natural thing to do . My hubby and I had roomies for the 1st 5 yrs of our marriage . It helps in the raising of the kids and helps financially. It also helps emotionally. It is a win win win win.
This was a beautiful discussion from what seems like a beautiful friendship. I look forward to the reflections after some time has passed. I imagine it will be filled with growth and learning experiences. 😊
First, Steve should teach something some day 😂 He’s so well spoken and mature and seems like the nicest guy! I think living with other people is great, if you’re on the same page and have the space for it. And financially it must make so much sense. You saving for Costa Rica and they might be wanting to buy a house at some point. It just makes sense, if it works. Why not! 👌
My husband and I have 4 boys and 13 years ago our best friends also had 4 kids and they moved in with us. So there were 12 of us living in a 3 bedroom 1 bath house with the kids ranging from 11 to 2. It worked for us, but I know it would not work for everyone. I think you have to do you and what is best for your family. Love you guys
Wow. How amazing. Totally agree.. I felt so isolated and alone after my first baby was born. Before kids I was travelling 8x yesrs around the world, working 50-70hr weeks.. then everything stopping. I was alone, living and marrying abroad, my (now ex) husband was out the house 0600 to 2000 every day and then only home every 2 weekend for a couple years. I had to deal with a (sick- in and out of hospital) kid, house, and try and keep my head above water in my job.. it was hell. You guys have such a special relationship and will be so much support for eachother. And doing the same type of work is a bonus.. because you can support eachother in that part of your lives as well.
I know I’m late to this video but I’ve been watching Louis since about 2014 and have loved watching the family grow. This is one of the most insightful, fascinating, and refreshing videos I’ve watched. Love watching your guys’ journeys!
What a heartwarming video. I am 50 years old with 18 and 20 year old kids. I tune in to you both because you teach me about living regardless of age or life stages. Love your positive outlook on life. Thank you!
Two of my “life friends” were made during the time of my boys being young. We didn’t share a home, but lived within a mile of each other, and all of our children could always be found at one of our homes. Those friends, made while you’re in the trenches-figuring out adult life and parenting-are forever. There is an incredible bond in raising children together. I’m m so excited y’all get to experience this!!
50, 60 years ago especially in Asia many families used to live in a garden together which has rooms all around their gardens and it was normal. Nowadays we learn to live individually and have privacy. If people can understand each other and support each other then it would be nice to live together. It is great that you enjoy it and being so flexible and friendly.
It takes much bravery to live communally, as other present souls in earshot help to identify areas where improvements can be made, when, inevitable (because we are human) indulgences in incorrect behaviors and tones occur. I see the village of your household as a 5th-dimensionally flavored, multiversally in-tune example of the new definition of family. I so clearly feel and recognize the unconditional love between you, the 98.98% cellularly identical quintuplets lovingly vlogging from the sofa. Thank you!👏💐👏🎶💞✌️
Wow I'd completely forgotten about FoodForLouis!! I loved the old penny boarding vlogs. What a time. Its lovely seeing you all remain such close friends and with your own families now :) :).
Absolutely love this ❤ I felt totally isolated when I had my daughter and even now as a single parent. I love that you are all so open and understanding and support each other that's so special to have
I have the same feeling of eye opening wonder with grandkids!! It's such a blessing getting to watch them explore and learn about the world around them!!! Neo is so cute!!!! ❤❤❤❤
As an OG I’m STOKED to see Steve and Alexia on the regular again! It’s bringing me back to the old Fun for Louis videos, the reason I got into travel too! Steve probably started my love of coffee even. 😍
I hope this chapter brings you peace and joy for your families 🙏🏻 ❤️❤️ As a child that been born in big house holding fist years was ok, unfortunately then we moved living with 2 other family in one house in my case this experience was more traumatic then pleasant as i had to face unpleasant situations of other adults being uncomfortable with children and saying bad things about me , seeing problems unfold in the house between people, being punished in-front of everyone , having no personal space or feelings of safe place , also when parents were in jobs I stayed with other women and her child for some reason i can’t remember she wanted to throw me out saying i am making her child learn bad things and called my parents to take me to other friends house , it was nightmare if been done with the wrong people and environment. I think if i do it again with children i will make sure to choose best friends and people you know like you did and make sure to make space for kids to feel safe and home by making different rooms for each family to have personal space for parenting .
Great video! Thank you for your reminiscent chat with frinds. Sharing a home would work when you are sharing with very good friends, who have the same values, obligations, goals and life stages! I would be open to have a good friend or friends to move in if it was the right person or people! Having space, a large enough house is important!
Who else clicks the like button before watching, I do. 🥰👍✔ Press 1 if it's the same for you LOL! x Gotta luv the life experience, bonding, connections & ongoing GROWTH witnessed with this amazing channel. This is a PRIME example of how to Love, bond and continue to grow as a Community ~ Common-Unity. xxx ThAnkh you Raya, Louis & Neo for sharing your ever expanding Family of the 'Village of AWESOME'. A much warm & exciting welcome to Steve, Alexia & Sunny. xxx Keep going & going Awesome Village crew. Live life & continue to amplify into your livity and divine ascensions of faceted sorts. You are laying the foundations of your incredible legecy for others (the next Neo & Sunny generation), to continue to thrive on this ever changing wonderful planet of sorts, and for that I apprecialove you endlessly for your content and contributions. xxx
If ever you get to go to Costa Rica and build a life there you have those who will keep this house a happy home and later when you come back to it you share it with your besties what could be better than that ❤❤Take care ,saw the ladies love the same dress in different colors 😊
This is absolutely great! Such a lovely way to help each other, spend time together and benefit from each other. Of course these things probably won't last forever but for a while absolutely why not right? Makes sense! Hope to bump into you in Brighton some day and if you ever fancy a day in Chichester, happy to host and tour guide anytime 😊❤️✨
I have just moved into a cohousing community we have been planning and building for over a decade. A different take on community living from your house, we are multi-generational (15 mos. to almost 90 years old) with 26 households in a 4-floor building with a lot of common space. Some of the households are little communities on their own. The building isn't quite finished and not everyone is able to move in yet, but we're all working together, helping each other, and enjoying each others' company. Really looking forward to all of us being here and our first in-house wedding next weekend.
I ABSOLUTELY AGREE THAT ITS SO ISOLATING AFTER YOU HAVE KIDS! I would love to live with my best friends especially if we both have a young child I think it would be fun and like you it would be a lot of help and support so I really love that y’all are doing this. I’m at the point in my life where my last child will be leaving soon and I’m a widow so I really could see myself living with a community because I don’t want to live alone. But anyway I hope everything goes great for y’all.❤
Absolutely brilliant!! The best way to raise kids is with friends!! It makes everything so much more fun and sharing/ trading child care helps lighten the immense load!!! Keep spreading the word!!!
I love this and have always been interested in communal living. Can you make a video about share vs personal expenses and how you manage finances when you share a space.
Thanks for this video. I am somewhat new to the Raya and Louis show. I came to you guys by way of Eamon & Bec and Kara & Nate. I have been enjoying getting to know you two through your videos. I also recently started watching the FunforLouis channel, which is where I have caught glimpses of Steve. So great to find out the history of your long and wonderful friendship. I can tell how much Louis appreciates Steve. I look forward to getting to know him, as he seems like a cool guy. So happy that this new living situation is not only working out, but also very fulfilling for all of you. Congrats!
I am a person who is adamant about living by myself. I've lived with previous boyfriends and at the time it was OK but I am the best version of myself when I live alone.
My first living situation was with 2 of my best friends and her partner at the time, She was younger and pregnant and we all moved in to raise a baby. We knew from the start it was going to be hard. I learned that my chosen family can be just as important and supportive as blood family. I’ve taken that with me to today. I’m in my. I’d forties and love building my own family and kept these people in my life to this day. Communication and being willing to have hard conversations is the best way to get through these things. Congrats!
Aww I love this. I don't know if I could do it at my age. Such a nice way to have a support system. Also, I saw you were watching my favourite show!! S.E.!!! I already finished the season )=
I remember well when I first watched your videos usually with Steve and Ben adventures- I also enjoyed seeing the many coffee places you visited- it’s a great idea for families to live together these days- wish you all great times ahead 🇦🇺
Awwww I loved this video so much! I’ve always love seeing Louis and Steve together! They have such a cool and fresh friendship!! I wish you all the best!! Cheers to community and great friendships!!
Exciting times i was just thinking a podcast with you 4 would be really interesting & Fun. I remember seeing steve with Alfie steve was giving a demo pouring milk into the coffee ( might be wrong ) But it lovely to see Very good friends help each other out in difficult times 💕. Wishing you all a Good weekend looking forward to your next videos 🥰
I want to let you know when I was raising my daughter on my own it was rough but at least you have each other and that other couple so that's why I think everything's going to be okay don't get me wrong I would not change one minute of my life it just made me stronger
So cool to see you all together! @Louis when do you plan to organise a silent party on the beach? Gonna visit Sussex and Brighton at the end of the month and would looove to join you!
I live in a house with three older, mid-sixties, women and three younger, early twenties and thirties, men. It works when everyone, regardless of age, communicate respectfully, treating another's needs as valid. There have been children here among us singles. But children and pets require more work for everyone. So it works best if everyone under the same roof all have children.
Wow that's awesome you all seem to get along so well. The kids can grow up together and even the dogs get along! Community living isn't for everyone but seems like it works for you guys. Don't get me wrong I would never let anyone be homeless I would take them in till they found a place. I wish you all the best in whatever you decide on your next journey through life. All four of you are amazing parents so good luck...❤🙏
My daughter is in her thirties okay I remember the days with you're going through what you're not too sure you're doing the right thing but I'm here to Duo you you'll have your good days and bad days you'll be alright in the end I'm here to tell you I have faith in you
I think more people should try more community like living. Housing is expensive! One of my adult sons had to come home with his daughter and i love it! I hate the stigma on men that if they live with their parents they are losers. It makes sense financially, and single parents have help with any children they may have.
It really hit me that I've been watching Fun for Louis for almost a DECADE!?!? That era of TH-cam that I watched when I was in college, really shaped a lot of my humor and view of different cultures.
Oh i have missed Steve and Alexia! I love this idea! It's gonna be fun watching these two guys getting back into their antics!😂😂Ohh I remember Steve being a bit of a coffee connoisseurs! I jealous now!!😂😂Aww Neo is getting so big! He is a handsome little boy for sure! I think he looks more like his mommy!😏😏So happy that the 4 of you are back together!! ❣❤❤❤❣
this is quite common in countries in latin america (usually between extended families hahah) to have full households of multiple generations… either from choice or necessity raising kids within a little community is a great thing all around 😊
Ok i have not finished watching the video yet but we have (my family and I kids 5 and 8) moved in with two elderly (74 and 93, mum and son) they are now friends with us but it was kind of scary we all are sharing rent, life here in Sydney is so expensive! Before this we have opened out house to younger people for 6 years through website in exchange of help not the same as long term but we now have life long friends with 20 something 😅 because of this.
I’m single and childless, but lived with one of my good friends and her husband with their baby and 2 dogs for several months while I saved up to get a place by myself a few years ago. I had the best time, honestly. I was sad to leave when the time came.
I am happy for you, Raya and Louis. Have you gotten, Neo a baby chair, or swing? He will love it, and he will learn to walk. It also keeps your hands free. It's really nice. Wishing you the best. Blessings and Love❤
Awe I cannot even explain how happy it makes me to see you all sat on that couch together 💛✨. Wishing we could pile in the community house with Oso and our little one too!! PS Sunny and Neo clips melt my heart so much!
Ahhh would be unreal to have you all here! Can’t wait to come visit ❤️ miss you guys!
Oh hey housemates! So excited for this chapter together and what's to come x
Louis, Steve and Ben adventures were my peak TH-cam watching days! Glad to see you two guys so happy with your own families now!
best times
Same here haha!!
I rewatch those ALL the time
@@ClayBowensame same it’s like the best memories
Same! For me they've been such an inspiration and its awesome to grow up "along side" them
I've lived alone for most of my adult life and love it. Community living sounds exhausting and I can't imagine doing so. Fascinating to see others doing it.

Totally agree. I need my quiet time and to be left alone. But maybe when you are raising kids it’s helpful.
I agree that I SO love my alone time and time with my husband and dogs on our own. Not something I could even fathom as I’d be so anxious about being quiet, music choices, tv choices, food choices even with the best of our friends.

I remember seeing steve with Alfie steve was giving a demo pouring milk into the coffee ( might be wrong )
But it lovely to see Very good friends help each other out in difficult times 💕.
Wishing you all a Good weekend looking forward to your next videos 🥰
It's a shame that the youtube algorithm doesn't treat the pioneers like you with justice. All the best for you four!
Oh yesss!! I’m so happy for you all living together!! Enjoy every minute. Living together as adults is gunna be fun for you all!!
This vídeo is a love letter to life! ❤
I love that! ❤️
I love Steve!!! He is such an amazing friend to Louis and now Raya! Makes my heart happy to see you all together!
I want to let you know when I was raising my daughter on my own it was rough but at least you have each other and that other couple so that's why I think everything's going to be okay don't get me wrong I would not change one minute of my life it just made me stronger
Raya talking about steve reminded me of that song tiktok with "you and me and your friend Steve"
😂😂
Awww you are all so lovely, how lucky you all are to have such a wonderful friendship 🙏
i’ve been watching since 2014 this makes me so happy haha good luck to you all
So cool to see you all together! @Louis when do you plan to organise a silent party on the beach? Gonna visit Sussex and Brighton at the end of the month and would looove to join you!
Community and being with the people you love is the way to do it!!
I love the idea and i really see it working with you bc you know each other so well. I think it is a really cool concept but just Not for everyone.
My husband and I are in our 60’s and we’d love to be with young families. It would keep us active loose stagnant time etc
Been here since Food for Louis, and through adventures with Ben, Steve and Louis and friends - loving it still! 🥰
I don’t think I could do it. 🤷♀️ More power to you! Enjoy!
I grew up in the 80's and 90's and yes it was so much. I love you guys.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Poor Ben, watching you 3 back in the day was peak TH-cam, it won’t ever be the same
So awesome, community is everything ❤
This will be great when you're going to Costa Rico. And the kids will love it
My daughter is in her thirties okay I remember the days with you're going through what you're not too sure you're doing the right thing but I'm here to Duo you you'll have your good days and bad days you'll be alright in the end I'm here to tell you I have faith in you
I think more people should try more community like living. Housing is expensive! One of my adult sons had to come home with his daughter and i love it! I hate the stigma on men that if they live with their parents they are losers. It makes sense financially, and single parents have help with any children they may have.
Looking forward to seeing more Steve and Alexia in the videos 🎉
OG viewer here been watching you guys for so long I don’t even remember how many years😂 so cool to see you live together now!
OG Fan here and I have watched you all since the beginning! Love this❤
It really hit me that I've been watching Fun for Louis for almost a DECADE!?!? That era of TH-cam that I watched when I was in college, really shaped a lot of my humor and view of different cultures.
Oh i have missed Steve and Alexia! I love this idea! It's gonna be fun watching these two guys getting back into their antics!😂😂Ohh I remember Steve being a bit of a coffee connoisseurs! I jealous now!!😂😂Aww Neo is getting so big! He is a handsome little boy for sure! I think he looks more like his mommy!😏😏So happy that the 4 of you are back together!! ❣❤❤❤❣
Aw thank you so much! ❤️
🤗❤@@RayaandLouis
OG viewer here, can confirm i recognise Steve for sure!
What a great video! Funny seeing teenage Steve!😂
🥰🥰🥰 Excited for what’s to come!
Of course we know you Steve !!!
this is quite common in countries in latin america (usually between extended families hahah) to have full households of multiple generations… either from choice or necessity raising kids within a little community is a great thing all around 😊
Any advise on how to find community living when you move to a new city/area?
Love to all of you✨
Ok i have not finished watching the video yet but we have (my family and I kids 5 and 8) moved in with two elderly (74 and 93, mum and son) they are now friends with us but it was kind of scary we all are sharing rent, life here in Sydney is so expensive!
You are so lucky!! 🎉❤ I wish that this was more normal way of living
Fab community living has always been interesting ❤
Great video guys the ending was perfect👍😎
Congratulations, I lived in community for years. I miss it so. At 67 I wouldn't know where to start. Also on limited income 😢
Wow, I was a floral designer for 15 years on our Campus of OSU. Loved it!
Love Steve 👏💯 the bromance can begin!
as a new parent myself I loved listening to this❤️
Guys, Neo is so beautiful, curious about the world around him and very photogenic😊
Used to watch you both in the OG days. Drives/skates and late night Starbucks stops at the services is what I remember 😂
I am happy for you, Raya and Louis.
Have you gotten, Neo a baby chair, or swing? He will love it, and he will learn to walk. It also keeps your hands free. It's really nice. Wishing you the best. Blessings and Love❤
I rate this so muchhhh! So excited for you guys 💜
Sitcom Friends. Will be interesting to see.
