Spain usually have a strong team but they surprisingly just exited and thus did not reach final 8. As a Dane, I think France and possibly Norway might have a chance on a good day. Handball are a great cardio and competitive sport and are fun for both players and spectators. So many Danes play handball in their sparetime, fitting perfectly as a hall sport in winter months, that we have been blessed with spotting talents for many years. Seeing how our team so fluently are adding new talents gives us hope for staying in the top levels also the coming years. Both our male and female teams have been blessed with extraordinary goalkeepers and attackers for a long time now. I love how the sport seem to be in a constant growth internationally. Just look at a nation like Egypt that surely can play some decent handball! Going to be interesting to see where they are at come Olympics.
Great as a leisure sport and great as a competitive spectator sport!
