Dang, I'm glad you also see the weirdness of Aylin and Isobel's relationship, lol. It just feels strange, their power dynamic really is... unbalanced 😅
If you're respeccing Shadowheart to be lore friendly, Selûne's associated cleric domains are Life and Knowledge. Life cleric is definitely the more optimized of those two, and will make Shadowheart's healing much more powerful.
Very interesting read on the relationship between Dame Aylin and Isobel. At the very least, Dame Aylin seems to be a paladin sworn to Selûne, a chaotic good goddess. I would expect using Isobel as a sacrifice would be out of character for her goddess and a vile enough action for Dame Aylin herself that it would make her an oathbreaker. I don't know if they'll ever reveal how Isobel died, but I'll be impressed if you're right.
Aylin being abusive is a theory that I've never heard before now. It's certainly a take. Their relationship is definitely unbalanced in the sense that Aylin is literally the child of the deity that Isobel worships and gains power from.
1:02:50 I'm not sure that's correct. I don't think the game ever makes it clear whether there's a weapon that can _truly_ kill Dame Aylin, such that she never comes back. Dame Aylin was explicitly chained up in the Shadowfell and being killed over and over and over again by potential Dark Justiciars, presumably by either that spear or weapons like it. And after being killed by those weapons, she would just come back again. Or at least that was my takeaway. Again, I'm only slightly ahead of this point myself.
maybe not but it is a bit... weird. they made Aylin pretty butch but also like, imagine if that character was a man with the same dialogue lines. ppl would be like whoa, settle tf down lmao
@mediumvillain Yeah no fair. I just remember the scene of them seeing each other. She looses the wings, helmet comes off, goes down on her knees. Seems pretty legit to me. But yeah it's definitely not a normal situation lol.
Merry Christmas !!!🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas Lyle! Hope you had a good day!
Not picking option 3 at 6:57 was very nice for your character, Lyle 😂

I personally never saw Dame Aylin and Isobel's relationship to be abusive.
