Many secret paths and side entrances , you can easily get lost in some parts …… Was always scared to venture in as a kid because it seemed so dark because the light is blocked out by overhanging trees …… Also , does anyone know the full story of the “ wee girl in the well “ So much folklore behind the face carved in stone …. 😯

That's so funny mate I was having a look for somewhere to fly yesterday morning and I was having a look down around the fire station and all the way up 🤣
Finally made it back to the old Borgie well after 25 years in Canada. Still the same spirits but have they ever done a good job of cleaning up the old place.
Fantastic stuff, as per norm. Surely you're stretching the legal limits with some of that duckin'n'diving ?? I hope we meet again some day - we always get back to Brodick on our return to Scottieland.........
hey thanks, yeah rules are a bit stretchy when it comes to weight, but it comes down to flying safely and not scaring the people, or dogs around you. i always sit where everybody can see me, and i never take any risks on safety. even things like somebody appearing on a bike going too fast for safety always factors into my thinking, so for example if theres a path i can't see along i never cross it at any speed in case a jogger or a bike or a kid chasing a ball etc etc. the main thing is i always fly within my limits, (for moneys sake too) i only crash when i push the limits of my skills. its actually more difficult to fly this slowly than flying fast doing tricks, so its not something anybody can do, this is a couple of years flying through tree branches before you have the skills to fly this accurately. i find once people realise what i'm doing and how i'm flying for the cinematic video, they are happy to put up with me and the noise for a couple of minutes, i only had one occasion to abandon a path this time, i was flying down the stream and a kid with a family didnt spot me and was trying to lean on the light coloured tree, sawed off as it reached the path, i wan't to fly under it, but i abandoned the run let them see me and then flew back over the stream and under the little bridge back to myself. then when they passed me i explained and gave them the safety chat etc. i did fly under it when nobody was around. its much better now, people know about these kind of drones and the kind of videos they make, a few years ago it was nothing but suspicious and i was endlessly explaining what i do, now its all waves and smiles and ''thats so cool'''s.
@@MultiMarooned theres a new dji drone anybody can fly, pretty amazing. search dji avata, and beginner. its pricey but literally anybody could pick it up and fly safely.
thanks, this is the gopro hero 6 black, using 4-3 4k 30fps and an nd filter, then i use reelsteadygo image stabilizer to make it silky smooth. there is also a free image stabilizer called gyroflow which equally good and you can use it with lots of different cameras, things like the insta360 family or anything which gives gyro data along with footage.
@@chilternfly yeah even as an fpv purist i have to concede the dji avata is a great way to enter fpv world, prices for normal fpv things like the emax babyhawk2 are ok, but all the peripherals make it almost as expensive as dji avata.

yeah its a fantastic wee spot now, very busy with people, i lived in the greenlees estate wwhen they were built, used to cycle through the park a lot.
