How could you not think of removing any body part in the way of the attraction area? is so logical as touching fire dude.

Lucky you Rlscience you didn't go blind! You are really setting a bad example because you never wear eye protection!!!!!, shattering magnets sometimes explode!!!

That's kind of your own fault you start lining the magnets up with your thumbs in between and then keep bringing them closer and closer while your thumbs are still in between them.... I thought when are you going to position your thumbs, so you don't get in between the magnets or let it flop over, I guess never lol?

This video was originally filmed in German. I synced it and created this english channel to show, what could go wrong with magnets.
I went to hospital, because my thumb was not able to move, it became twice its size and it was impossible to check, if there was something broken.
The doctor asked what happend. When I told him, he couldn't believed it and I should send him the clip, when I was back home.
And when you criticize my English: It is not my first language, but I am able to speak in YOUR language. Can you talk to me in German? I don't think so...

People have joked about the amount of safety procedures I take when using magnets. Now I can show them this video.

You could control the magnet with a rope through a hook on the ceiling, slowly lowering it down till it snaps

I HAVE A 23 KG PULL FORCE MAGNET
    costs 15 bucks
    expensive
yes i say expensive because our currency is 10 x less than dollars and we also have less neodynium in sweden

Is it as dangerous with the magnet just being near something made of steel? Can your finger be crushed between a large magnet and a steel object? I bought a 1200 lb magnet for fishing, but now I am afraid to use it. Thank you for this video.

RLScience EN I just found your channel. Wonder if you could help me out. What size and type of magnet would you recommend to achieve 2.5mH at a distance of 8in? What spin or oscillation rate would be required? Thank you for your time and thanks for showing the dangers of these magnets.

so if we use neodymium magnet in motors then they give more rotating speed and if we used piezoelectricity crystal instead of iron core and thorium wire then what happened
