And I can't quite find myself in the products you are testing. And I think most people, myself included, would be happy if you tested something in that range.

@@videogaminbiker889 i’ve bought a lot of monitor arms in the past. I have tried both single arm, dual, and vertical. At the moment I am using a dual vertical mount and while it works really well it can cause strain on the neck if you spend a lot of time using only the top display. Monitor arms that can be moved around freely are useful but there is a limit to how much you can do due to cable management. I’ve never seen an alternative that will allow you to switch the positions of a top and bottom vertically mounted monitor before but if it did exist I can only think of issues with cables. I literally CAN'T buy a monitor, all the "Insta-Buys" I see in reviews aren't available in the UK currently, and the rest are confusing morass of pros and cons to a layman like me, none of which seem to be more appealing than the mythical "Insta-Buys". FFS, all I want is mid tier 1440p 240hz monitor, good for FPS gaming and productivity (decent colours), that can turn portrait, or mount on an arm, That can downscale 4k like the m27qX, and costs about 300- 400 GBP in the UK, and is ACTUALLY AVAILABLE. Is this what they call FOMO marketing? It's SO anxiety causing as to make it deeply unpleasant to JUST WANT TO BUY A GOOD PRODUCT FOR A GOOD PRICE. GAH! Anyone in the UK can suggest a monitor that hits that M27q X type sweetspot? What is the best bang for my buck in the UK currently?

For the $300-500 monitor range, instead of the M27QX or the MSI MAG274QRX, I think the LG 27GR83Q is the better choice due to that it has HDMI 2.1, and in the USA, can be found on sale for $350 often, instead of $500. Anyways, all 3 monitors are good. Additionally, another good monitor is the MSI G274QPX.

Really interested in that just announced 360hz 1440p oled monitor from alienware. Feel like it can give that 540hz monitor a run for its money in motion clarity seeing its still an lcd tryna pump out sub 2ms frame times. 10-90% pixel response transistions are a nice benchmark to hit that they are doing but the total reponse times are far slower and that still still does matter, especially the first 10% that could very well be especially delayed.

I paid the silly price premium for an OLED gaming monitor, and I'm in love with how crisp and colourful it is. It's not just that blacks are inky, the whites are also beautifully vibrant. ...but for gaming I hardly notice any difference vs. a 1ms IPS panel, with the same refresh rate. The difference between the 1 ms in 0.01ms response time just isn't perceptible to me. Don't regret the purchase because I'm lucky that I could afford it, but I can't say it's a good value for gaming versus a higher refresh rate (or higher pixel density) IPS panel.

Interesting to see your praise for the Koorui monitor. The cheapest 1440p 240 Hz IPS in Canada right now is the Koorui 27E3QK at just over $400 CAD, but there's zero reviews for it on Amazon and I'm somewhat skeptical of it compared to the next cheapest MSI G274QPX at $460. I'd be interest to see you make a review about that monitor, as it would be a genuinely great price if it performed similarly to the MSI. There just aren't any English language reviews for it, just a review in Chinese for the HKC VG273QK which is the same model under a different name for the Chinese market.

I'd love to see you review the MAG274QRX. Very solid for me and seems to have decent contrast for a fast IPS. Seems very similar color wise to the lower refresh rate 1440p versions. I've been running it for about a year without issue.

Personally rocking the MSI Mag274QRF-QD. To me 1440p 144/165hz is my sweet spot mainly play single player games now so I prioritize high to ultra settings and felt like a 240hz monitor wasn’t worth it for my use. Cooler master is releasing a mini led va 1440p monitor for $450 (leaked price) at some point I may swap to that depending on reviews first.

I went from a Zowie 2540 (240hz 1080p 1ms), which is still a fantastic monitor today, to an ls 27gr95qe (240hz oled 1440 .03ms). It was a nice jump graphics wise, 1080 vs 1440, but very little difference in speed vs the Zowie. The colors are great tho and blacks are ridiculous. Great experience and no complaints. Imo everyone should be on 240hz MINIMUM with fast response time. 1440 if you can afford it and have a good pc that can put out those frames at higher resolution. If your pc can't, stick with 1080 at 240hz
