didn't have much time to learn a new song for church and this was a life saver. took me 5 minutes. just had to add a few notes between chords to give it a fuller sound. thank you! 😭

So simple for beginners to understand! For myself, if I am looking to learn a new song and use your videos, I have to transpose the key, since you do lots of lessons in C major. You have a beautiful soprano voice and I have an alto to mezzo soprano, so I can’t sing as high as you! This song I can reach the notes. I have an idea. Perhaps you might think of a transposable app on your website. Great job on this song!
Hi Miriam,the best way to go about it is for you to learn the numbering system.eg. Key of C = C, dm, em, F, G, am, b' (Chords). Number each Letter. eg, C=1, dm=2 em=3, F=4, G=5, am=6, b"=7. So this Songs vers is F am G (chords), so the numbers will be 4-6-5. If you play in key of G and you know the scale which is G, am, bm, C, D, em, F#,(chords) the same numbers you used in the Key of C, when played in the key of G will be 4-6-5 which chords are C, em, D (chords) for the Vers. For the chorus in the Key of C we had , F, am, G.(chords) which is also 4- 6 -5. In the Key of G again the Chorus will be C- em- D.(Chords)The numbers again are 4 -6 -5. You can do this with every Song. 1) know the scale.2) know the letter names of each scale degree.3)replace them with numbers. Every scale degree in a major key has the same type of chords.eg. Major,minor,minor,Major,Major,minor,diminished.(Chords)
