Broncos fan here: yes absolutely I’m willing to have traded the SB50 win and Peyton Manning going out a champ for this decade of playoff misery. It was worth it. That said I’m sooooo glad it looks to be over. 😅
I was one of the lifelong fans who was, in 2015, saying 'Please God, let's get this one..... for Peyton if anything .... I dont care if we don't even sniff playoffs for 10years."
There's no way that I would trade a decade of losing for another super bowl! I happen to love having competition and being competitive. I've been a Broncos fan since the 70s, and the past 8 years was tough, but i stood by their side through it all.
A team doesn't suddenly change. Though I'm a Chargers fan, I'm also willing to face reality. We know what we have with the Chargers; not much will change. The only things that can change are fewer mental mistakes and better play-calling, but that's it. They are what they are this season. Ranked last in receiving personnel, weak interior offensive line, no rushing game, and no elite TE. On the defense, aging pass rushers, but with one exception. The backfield is banged up and suspect. We have two more seasons and drafts until this team competes with the elite teams. And if we did somehow sneak into the playoffs, we're one and done. That's ok for a rebuilding year. As a Chargers fan, our expectations are too high for the first year. We beat the teams we were supposed to beat and lost to the ones we were supposed to lose to. It was predicted that we would win 8 1/2 games this season and we're pretty close to that mark and on target. We probably wouldn't even be considering the playoffs this year but because there are so many bad teams, we still have a chance.
Being close to the chiefs for 2 straight games is still impressive. I think the afc isn't as far away as I think. But the chargers have to get the offense going if they want to win a game in the playoffs which so far looks bad. But anything can happen
Chargers offense stinks. IOL is awful. Can’t run. Can’t protect Herbert. No weapons to alleviate some pressure. Doesn’t help that Roman lacks creativity. So hard to watch every week.
How are the Broncos Weapons actually any better… McConkey has been playing every bit as good at Sutton, and McConkey is the a ROOKIE… Plus both run games are comparable… 😊
7th seed is good! I don't want my Chargers playing the Steelers - BAD ju ju. Last game pos Heyward took out our two tackles and Justin. ABS -4:11 anybody.but.steelers.
Payton wants sweet revenge for being snubbed last year when he made it clear he wants to coach the Chargers, but Spanos decided not to fire Staley at the time
middle of the road for the Broncos rushing attack is generous...RBs available for tonight's game are averaging 3.8 YPC on the season. Take out Nix's scrambles/designed runs and we are 31st in YPG.
He is pronouncing more correctly, Surtain is a French name. My old boss was a French Canadian guy with the same name and he/we pronounced it "Ser-Tayne"
The Broncs run game is in the bottom of the NFL, truly wretched. This is their Achilles Heel. With an anemic running attack the Broncs Payton deodorant can't fend off the smell of one and done. Chris is a Bronco. Thanks, appreciated.
The Chargers are 2-3 against 5 teams that can make the playoffs and they were not better than any of those teams plus Denver. They are better than the last 2 teams with better coaching, there is an 80% chance they will go 2-0 and reach 10 wins, looking at schedule Denver is less likely to go 2-1.
Denver can't win these kind of games, Chargers are still a better overall team. Bo hasn't proven that he's that guy yet. Herbert is hirt with a leg contusion and still is having a better year then Bo. Regardless Chargers are in the playoffs this year after a shii show of Brandon Staley
Rooting for Chargers tonight! Hoping Hurst who has been on IR for the last month is a go tonight to help Herbert. LETS GO CHARGERS!!!! If the Chargers just win two of the three games that they have left then they will make the playoffs.
@ Oh the Chargers knew going in sharing a stadium with the Rams that their “ San Diego” fan base would not travel and a lot of those fans have moved on/jumped ship because they are mad about the Chargers leaving. It doesn’t surprise me that away teams fill the Chargers stadium and neither are the Chargers.
Rooting for the Broncos tonight but the Colts had them until the 4th quarter. If Taylor didn't drop the ball on the 1 inch line then the above conversation would have been completely different.
The colts lost by more than 7 points. Their issue is Richardson, who makes big mistakes and is inconsistent, causing the offense to resort to gimmicks, and gimmicks backfire.
If that's your reasoning, then if Denver blocked well enough on a FG attempt, they would've beaten the Chiefs, and that Colts game wouldn't have mattered as much. It's all hyperbole at the end of the day
Doubt it. You cannot discount all the Broncos did after he dropped the ball. Colts fell apart and Broncos asserted their dominance. Colts just gave up. Worst trick play ever
Don’t forget about the potential of 3-team ties. Media often seem to assume head-to-head is a slam dunk. The Bengals might win a tiebreaker vs the Chargers with a third team also in that tied record? Are you sure the Chargers have a magic number of 1 based on all potentialities? (ie 3-team ties)
@crystalballers every team could do a should of, would of , could of in a loss so to me there is no point since a loss is a loss bo matter how it happened. The Broncos didn't block the rusher and it was blocked with no time remaining. They lost. The end.
The chargers lost to a red hot buccs and b4 that they played against the ravens and chief's. Last i checked the broncos only beat the buccs and the buccs werent red hot when they played. And the colts are not the buccs
You can tell Florio has never competed in any sport because of he had he'd know that players and teams don't go in being scared to play team X in the playoffs. Florio if any team did go in thinking we're scared to play team X in the playoffs then they won't go to or win the Superbowl in the first place.
You obviously haven’t ever walked into a stadium as a Cinderella team but you are meeting a national powerhouse in the state semifinals and you are scared stupid by a team full of Division 1 recruits. We left there feeling like a 14-46 loss was a good showing.
@ give it up already with excuses. You think Brady, Manning, Rivers and other great QBs would take that crap and not say nothing mid-game. Herbert shows no energy.
Broncos fan here: yes absolutely I’m willing to have traded the SB50 win and Peyton Manning going out a champ for this decade of playoff misery. It was worth it.
That said I’m sooooo glad it looks to be over. 😅
Theyre losing tn buddy. 🩵⚡️🩵⚡️🩵⚡️
I 100% would trade a repeat of the last 8 years for another SB win.
Yes indeed 🎉
no not me… it was torture
no not me… it was torture
I was one of the lifelong fans who was, in 2015, saying 'Please God, let's get this one..... for Peyton if anything .... I dont care if we don't even sniff playoffs for 10years."
@ saaaame 🤣
If Broncos win it’s over for the Bengals. Chargers got pats and raiders last two weeks. They only need one win. Cmon Chris!
Calling Lad number 3 is a crazy take
I think he's saying 3 like you would a basketball lineup. Lad is a perfect slot receiver like the way the Patriots used Welker and Edelman.
If Herbert had a offense where Ladd is a number 3 weapon he will win a chip 100%
There's no way that I would trade a decade of losing for another super bowl!
I happen to love having competition and being competitive.
I've been a Broncos fan since the 70s, and the past 8 years was tough, but i stood by their side through it all.
One Super Bowl win every 17 years is way higher than league average but I’d prefer to not wait another 9 years for our next
Eh I’d rather witness a SB win. Losing in the playoffs for 10-20 years would blow.
Ask Bill's fans if they agree. Yall just spoiled
The team most likely to knock KC out the playoffs is the Broncos, they've had some close games the past few seasons.
Bills?

And we've played everyone close except Tampa. We just have so thin a margin that any lost players really caps our ceiling.

No culture is the real problem for the san diego chargers.
We need interior protection for Herbert and the Chargers score 30 a game.
Too bad we have Nik Bonito.
@@JordanHarrisNick bonito doesn’t rush through the interior lol
@@jaedanredder3793no but Zach Allen will bull rush your interior straight back giving bonnito an easy path

Chargers will always screw it up. It’s in their blood. They can’t help it.
Broncos also lost Pat Surtain to a concussion at the start of that game. Losing our key defensive player was huge.
7th seed is good! I don't want my Chargers playing the Steelers - BAD ju ju. Last game pos Heyward took out our two tackles and Justin. ABS -4:11 anybody.but.steelers.
If it's the longest drought ever since a superbowl win, why is Paton still the General Manager 🤨 wtf
You're a new football fan huh?
Den 20 LAC 17 Final. Broncos defense will be the story yet again.
As a cowboy fan, I would certainly take a Super Bowl over no playoffs for 10 years. Bring it on as if that could happen😢
Having the Walmart heirs owning the team is the catalyst.
Payton wants sweet revenge for being snubbed last year when he made it clear he wants to coach the Chargers, but Spanos decided not to fire Staley at the time
Gonna be a good game. Cannot wait to see the Broncos defense come after Herbert.
Even if Chargers lose tonight, they hold tiebreaker with Bengals so Bengals are not making playoffs
Also the Bengals have 8 losses... The chargers could lose tonight and still have 10-7 record at year end.
middle of the road for the Broncos rushing attack is generous...RBs available for tonight's game are averaging 3.8 YPC on the season. Take out Nix's scrambles/designed runs and we are 31st in YPG.
Imagine having Dan fouts, Philip Rivers, and Justin Herbert in your team history and have zero rings 😮
TF does "deep run" even mean. There's only 3 games.
4 including the Super Bowl, but yeah.
In this context a deep run is a wild card team making it to at least the afc or nfc title.
@@thestarisalie wow 2 games definitely "deep"
5 seed is where both of these teams need to be to do anything in playoffs. Broncos have a winning season already a successful season. Broncos win.
If the Broncos make the 6 or 5 they can beat Texans or Steelers. Not likely but they could keep it close.
The run game is abysmal at best!
Don't forget, Pat Surtain left the game early last time these two teams met.
2nd play of the game I believe. He was sorely missed. Broncos almost came back and won second half
Are they trying make this game as unappealing as possible? I was kind of looking forward to it. Maybe I'll watch Netflix instead...
Love all the Simms-isms but dude has to learn how to pronounce Surtain properly. “sur-TAN”.
He is pronouncing more correctly, Surtain is a French name. My old boss was a French Canadian guy with the same name and he/we pronounced it "Ser-Tayne"
He called the Bengals the Bang-gles
It’s just how he and his Jersey accent goes lol
Dude, what matters is how PS2 and his father before him pronounce it. He is right: Sur-TAN.
They really forgot the Bengals want the chargers to win? And the broncos to lose out because Cincinnati plays Denver next week
The Bangles, huh?
Could? WILL.

Off course Milke would, he would trade 20 years for a SB champ. He is not getting any younger.
Chris still can’t pronounce Surtain

So a cowboys fan? Happy with making the playoffs but never winning the championship?

Chargers beat bengals we’d be in over them anyway
Jaleel McLaughlin is out
We still have Wilson dead cap next year.... just not as much. Broncos beat the Chargers and keep the 6th seed!! Broncos Country!!

The Broncos shouldn't have won The Chiefs game because they didn't block the rusher.
To be fair, the chiefs hold nonstop while the refs swallow whistles. Is that deserving of a win?

Bengals: ben-gawls, -gahls It's NOT, bangles. Susanna Hoffs does not play for Cincinnati (although she probably could).
It’s his north jersey-ism. Don’t take it hard lol it’s just him
Why am I hearing so many people think the Broncos defense is better than the Chargers defense now?
Recency bias. Chargers defense got embarrassed last week.
Cause it is
Because they are! Chargers will screw it up like they always do. It’s in their blood.
Broncos lead the league in sacks. They have more turnovers. They have more defensive scores.
How are they not? Lmao
The chargers lost to a red hot buccs and b4 that they played against the ravens and chief's. Last i checked the broncos only beat the buccs and the buccs werent red hot when they played. And the colts are not the buccs
