New combat features for RPG Playground

    i think something simple to improve the game is putting in human enemies which would create way more storyline choices

    so i have this idea where a character has a stolen pet, so i have to find it and get it back, but i cant figure out how to get dialogue from when im back with the pet, can anyone help with that? i have an enemy i have to defeat before getting the pet back but i cant figure out a way to add dialogue after defeating the enemy

      when u get the pet u can make the character recieve a token called "saved pet" and then when u chat with someone make it like
      If hero has token "saved pet"
      hero says "i saved him
      girl says "yay"
      else
      girl says "someone stole my pet"
      hero says "I will get it back"

      @@leonwarren3731 I tried something like that but after the dialogue for the token it switched back to asking for help

      @@muzhiwaay u could put a token at the begining called "start" and then do if he has the token "start" then do the asking for help dialouge, and then when you rescue the pet, you lose the Start token and gain the Saved Pet token, and then when you talk to them next then they say thanks and then you lose the Saved Pet token and then the default dialouge is a "thanks again" or something like that. hope that made sense.

    Hi guys!
    I just wanted to know what I did wrong when I wrote these commands:
    Guy says: "Hello! Welcome to my merch shop! What can I get you?"
    hero says "What is that potion over there?"
    Guy says: "that's a regeneration potion. It costs 5 pieces of gold."
    if hero number of "gold" >= 5
    hero receives "health potion"
    hero number of "gold" decreases with 5
    Guy says "Thanks for shopping at my merch shop!
    else
    Guy says "sorry, you'll need more money to buy that."
    The error is written: ERROR on line 8. Action needs to follow another action.
    Actors: Guy and hero
    what can I do?

    How do I make a scene where a character entered the walls over to me? Without touching them first..

      There are 2 invisible actors: 1 where you can bump into, another is a "pressure plate" that detects when you walk over it. Just place it where you want the hero to be when the action needs to occur. Then adapt the screenplay of that invisible actor.

      Okay, I'll try that when I get off of work today. I've been throwing together a little game. It's been super fun to mess with. Sometimes though, I don't understand why, but certain buttons won't work. Like, I have invisible doors along the bottom of a hallway scene. If I walk up to them, they connect to the next area. It works about 80% of the time, but the other times it just won't warp me to the next area. I've also made scenes where after I talk to an NPC they reply, we exchange dialog and They're supposed to walk out of the way (they where intentionally blocking a door for example.) However, sometimes they just walk a tiny bit or not at all and other times it works perfectly. Any idea why these things happen!?
      Thank you so much for all your efforts. You've truly made something really cool. Something that I hope you're proud of!

    two features that would be nice is one be any character monster or animal with be able to change avatar in each level and two creating your own character and blocks but its just a suggestion
