Unfortunately office work doesn't make for good TH-cam content 🤣🤦. However the agronomist has just been out so I've got a heap of spraying to do! Stay tuned!👍
@@jimsfarming7792 Oh I know, but it's good to hear you're well. Unfortunately one of the hydrostatic motors on our self propelled sprayer has packed up so we're in a bit of pickle. Ours is a 28M boom which is kind of uncommon which isn't helping!
@@ChimpChimpChimpChimp Oh dear! That sounds expensive. Yeh, that does sound quite unusual! I have heard of 3.5M width drills but I'd assume you put your tramlines in with the sprayer? Fingers crossed you get it sorted!
@@jimsfarming7792 Yeah tramlines are spaced as per the sprayer and we operate a 6M drill. Massive lead times mean a rebuild of the motor will take months to do and everyone around us is either 24M or 32M booms!
@@ChimpChimpChimpChimp I bet you can cover some acres with that! The farm I plant the potatoes on have upgraded to a 942 and 6m Vaddy this year. I went and had a ride; It was going twice as fast, covering twice the width using less fuel than my dinky set up. Very impressive. Hope you find a solution soon!
