There are very few people who have a natural voice that can do so much but Dom Deluise was one of those people, absolutely full of positivity and joy, RIP Dom
I was on the set of History of The World Part I. Filmed at Hollywood Center studios. I watched Mel show Dom how he wanted Dom to pee in the scene. It was a scream.
Good to see Angie also. She doesn't seem remembered so often. She was a real babe and just a good an actress. She had some great roles and did them well.
Crazy, time keeps on slippin slippin slippin into the future... watching two men, that are both passed now, talking about not wanting to die but knowing it will come someday. I’m presently in the year 2020, I wonder who you are, that’s reading this in the future, reading my post about two guys that have passed away that are talking about not wanting to die and possibly by now I have passed away? Hello from the passed!! TH-cam... the internet time machine.
At this juncture in Johnny's career , he was not suffering from breathing problems. I believe he had stopped smoking by this time and his lungs were generating new pink tissue. Later on in his post Tonight Show existence, he started developing COPD symptoms from all accounts.
Dom DeLuise was so sweet, kind and inclusive. He did not need to be interrupted with Johnny's sarcasm, put-downs and general negativity. Actually Dom could be a one-man show. So Johnny should have just relaxed
Just incase no one else has seen "Fatso" I will say that it is a wonderful movie!! Ron Carey is also in it acting as Dom's little brother. Anne Bancroft produced, and I believe, directed it. A wonderful man who is overweight and his obese cousin dies. The wonderful Italian family (whose main focus is on food) all think he needs to lose weight. He tries and tries. In all very funny ways he tries. He hopes to lose enough so he can find a girlfriend and get married. The rest is up to you to watch the movie. I will also state that this movie really does show that Dom Deluise did truly have some acting chops. The way he handles some emotional but very sincere scenes is just wonderful. If you can find it, the movie is worth investing in for time and money. He was really a very wonderful man and truly missed.
_"And ya see a bunch of guys come towards ya..."_ 11:58 - 12:16 ... He's right. That's how you do it. It's the individual crazy guy you have to keep your eyes on.
Ill always love his voice acting work because that "scaredy cat" persona reminds me so much of a Mexican comedy actor "Capulina" whose character was just like that RIP to geniuses of comedy
Johnny had class and so did his guests. There are no late night shows now I can even stomach. I used to enjoy Conan until it became the kiss Obama's ass hate Trump show.
I wouldn’t go that far. Conan took a good amount of shots at Obama as well. Unlike that ass licker Stephen Colbert. Comedy works, for me at least, when you take shots at all sides. I still do enjoy Conan he’s too nostalgic for me to quit on him
Dom Deluise was WAY ahead of his time. Years before the food network, if he was around today, he would outshine them all. Especially dick Gordan. The only thing I don't understand is how does one sit at home with their ass up their ass. Anyone know?
There are very few people who have a natural voice that can do so much but Dom Deluise was one of those people, absolutely full of positivity and joy, RIP Dom
Dom DeLuise and John Candy can never be replaced.
You are wrong, My Dear. Donovan Scott was the official successor of Dom DeLuise and John Candy back in day.
@@michaelcarvalhosilva6624 who in the world is Donovan Scott...
@@joerivandeweyer3056 Google is your friend
@@calisongbird yeah bud but i mean that wasn't a question but a statement, lel
I know right. They really do sound alike!
This guy would acknowledge everyone in a conversation , he would include every person in a room with a unique story. #confidence
Super nice man. Met him when I spent two days on the set of Cannonball Run.
This is great! Mr DeLuise is wonderful.Miss this man so much.
Absolutely awesome. We share the same birthday. Happy birthday Dom! Rest in peace.
We share the same birthday!
Highlight of my childhood movies was his iconic voice, absolutely a legend
He was such a good soul rip Dom
Dom was soooo underrated!
Brooks said having deLuise as an actor on the set was meaning ‘no work done’, because they were laughing so much. We imagine easily.
I was on the set of History of The World Part I. Filmed at Hollywood Center studios. I watched Mel show Dom how he wanted Dom to pee in the scene. It was a scream.
Cool! You had a great job, what a privilege!
R.I.P :(
I love DeLuise! Great Actor!!!
Jeremy, Tiger, Fagin, and Itchy are among the nostalgic cartoon voices of childhood
A true unique. A wonderful actor. So goddamn funny. Never will be replaced or equalled.
I've never seen a film with Deluise in it that didn't make me laugh. They may not have always been award winners, but they definitely made ya laugh.
Dom DeLuise and Jonathan Winters...the best!
He played Tiger in the animated movie called 'Fievel'
SLICK WIT IT Yeah 😢 ❤️
An American Tale*
And Jeremy the Crow in The Secret of NIMH
Also Fagin in Oliver & Company :)
Dom Deluise would have to be one of the most clever and funny American comedians and actors ever. A fair dinkum funny bloke.
Good to see Angie also. She doesn't seem remembered so often. She was a real babe and just a good an actress. She had some great roles and did them well.
Hear, hear!! 💖🌟💖
He was one of a kind. In a wonderful way.
Dom just lights up the room
Just brilliant in every possible way 👏 👌
Dom was a good, good man
Dom Deluise used to be a chef on TV
BUT NOW HE JUST SITS AT HOME.. WITH HIS ASS... UP HIS ASS!
BUT NOW HE SITS AT HOME WITH HIS ASS UP HIS ASS
If they make a movie on Dom Deluise, then Eric Stonestreet could play him.
His son (who was the dad on Wizards of Waverly Place) is almost a clone of him. He could play his dad easily.
Yesssss! Eric Stonestreet ALSO has that strong likeability factor!
OMG I was sooooo in love with this man from the age of 5 or 6???
Dom is so thin here. I just watched some of his cooking videos from 1988/1989 and he really put the weight back on there.
class act! :)
It feels like Itchie’s here
😭😭😭😭
No stop 😢😢😢
Yup
And Fagin too
And Jeremy the crow. And Tiger the feline. And don’t forget Fagin.
An amazingly talented actor. He's super present super attentive like Paul Shaffer...but with comedy.
You're comparing a comedic genius like Dom DeLuise to Paul Shaffer??? You're kidding, right?
What I would do to have met Dom Deluise and John Candy
Thats one Police Woman many people forget about. Angie Dickinson.
Quite possibly the skinniest I’ve seen him. Well done.

I'm reading your comment 6 months in the future. Hope all is well with you in the past, present and beyond!
I find your post interesting, I read it a few months before I died.
You still above ground? Been ten months, now.

*Yawn* Johnny is playing the straight man. There would be jokes that Dom couldn't have made here if Johnny hadn't been chiming in.
Hey Tiger! That's my name too.
Just incase no one else has seen "Fatso" I will say that it is a wonderful movie!!

Very funny show thank you.
Wrong year. They are talking about the royal wedding, which took place on 29 July 1981.

Damn, we Millennials would kill for a $37-a-week apartment, even with no hot water!
A cold water flat? They must have had cheap landlords back then.
Today Is August 1st, And This Interview Was On His Birthday, Wow, He Would Be 89 If He Was Still Alive, RIP Dom DeLuise, Such A Phenomenal Actor!! 😭😭😭
RIP Dom DeLuise. (1933-2009)
“Huge, huge boat.”
I was born Aug 1983
Gotta show some love to Mister Koosalagoopagoop
Peter Deluise was in 21 jump Street with Jonny Depp. He made enough to buy a few cars.
Ill always love his voice acting work because that "scaredy cat" persona reminds me so much of a Mexican comedy actor "Capulina" whose character was just like that
RIP to geniuses of comedy
I never know that jerry Russo from wizards is dom son !!! In real life ❤️
Love him
I can hear him say "but I'm a Nice guy"

Urgo!
Wow a beard! He was way ahead of his time!! * rolls eyes *
And then Suge Knight did it
I never saw this clip before. Quite morbid intermission screen art in the first second 😮
Angie Dickinson. OMG
that tie is just awful. no idea why he put that on. ugh.
Does anyone else think Dom is coked out of his gourd here?
Dom was a big queen. Him and Mr. Belvedere were lovers.
Johnny had class and so did his guests. There are no late night shows now I can even stomach. I used to enjoy Conan until it became the kiss Obama's ass hate Trump show.
I have thought the very same thing.... great minds..... I grew up in the 70s and 80s.... How I miss those days!
🖕Trump
I wouldn’t go that far. Conan took a good amount of shots at Obama as well. Unlike that ass licker Stephen Colbert. Comedy works, for me at least, when you take shots at all sides. I still do enjoy Conan he’s too nostalgic for me to quit on him
Trump is a fucking narcissistic sociopath
This was when he was relatively thin… and judging from this clip, it had to be from a coke habit 😂
Dude is coked out. Cant keep his finger off his nose
