There are 8 books coming out next year i'm definitely buying. Of Empire and Dust by Ryan Cahil, A Drop of Corruption by Robert Jackson Bennet, The Blackfire Blade by James Logan, Engines of War by R. S. Ford, The Lord of Demons by Evan Winter, The Ashfire King by Chelsea Abdullah, Ace in the Hole by Rhett C. Bruno and Jaime Castle, and finally A Death in Berlin by Simon Scarrow an historical fiction mystery. Plus there are a lot of 2024 hardcovers that are coming out as paperbacks in 2025 I plan on getting all of them. I'm so happy I started reading. Take care and i'll keep watching, and have a great new year.
Some of the new releases are from series I haven’t started yet. Of those series that I have started, the new release that I’m most excited about is book 7 of the Alpha and Omega Series by Patricia Briggs.
I don't often buy new release books, but I make an exception with Robert Galbraith (a.k.a. J.K. Rowling) and the Strike series. She's coming out with the newest book, The Hallmarked Man, at some point in 2025 and I am beyond ready for it!
The book I’m looking forward to the most is Twelve Months, the 18th book in The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. He’s 89% of the way done with his Final Draft of this as of Dec. 17 2024 so there’s no way I can’t see this book coming out in 2025.
I remember how much Name of the Wind grabbed me almost 20 years ago now. Wow! Can't believe it has been that long. Back then he said he already had the whole trilogy written.🤣
Maybe he lost the last part... 😂 I hate to make fun of anyone who's struggling to find their mojo. Especially an author as talented as Rothfuss. But he has left a long trail of broken commitments. And there is something profoundly disrespectful about people who break their word.
@@libraryunbounded Yeah I have never been mad or disappointed as some folks seem to be, but I always struck me as interesting that he had said it was all written. Back then I figured they were just going to pull a Robert Jordan and expand it to 10+ books.
Breath of the Dragon sounds super intriguing! Erf, I'm planning a low-buy year next year and I should stop watching anticipated books videos because it's not helping XD
I'm sorry, I know how it is to be bombarded with good books when you're trying to reduce spending. But there's always the library. I know being French reduces the opportunity to find a lot of the books in the library, if they aren't translated. But if it's translated, and you request it, the bigger libraries usually get it at some point.
I must be slightly more of an optimist, because I do think we will one day see Winds of Winter… but I don’t believe we will ever see A Dream of Spring… sadly. Cool list! Some titles I need to looked more into!
I’ve read the first four already!

The Last Vigilant is so eye catching. It gives an old fantasy feel (I always judge book by their covers so you’re not alone 😂)
I know, right? At first I thought it was an alternate cover for The Eye of the World 😂
So many new books! So exciting!
Thank you, Teresa! Exciting indeed!
I hope you're doing well and enjoying the Christmas spirit flowing through all of us right now 🎄✨❤️
❤📚😊❤️
Enjoyed the video, of course!
Thank you so much, Starla! ❤️
❤️💙💚 more books to add to my TBR 😂
Happy to help 😂

Pretty sure Brandon is also releasing White sand novelization in december 2025?
And maybe Skyward legacy book 1 also!
Wow... this man... I have no words 😂

I sure hope you're right for Winds of Winter (and wrong for Dream of Spring 😂)
@ same! We could be surprised! Maybe A Dream for Spring just flows out of him! That’s the dream!
