Nothing like a failed gm talking about a failed coach
"Play Aaron Rodgers in the pre-season."
OK, genius. What if you say that and Rodgers just . . . won't? Historically he never wanted to with the Packers because he thinks he's God's gift to mankind and has nothing he needs to improve. *He* doesn't need to help his teammates improve, his teammates should do that on their own. The same way he doesn't think *he* should adjust his cadence to make things easier for them. *He* never needs to change because *he's* the best. *He's* never the problem.
This clown acts like Rodgers didn't decide not to play in preseason.
Playing a 40 year old QB in the preseason? Check this guy for CTE.
And Rodgers woulda looked at Mike T, and laughed and said "no".
Listening to Mike T talk about the Jets or the Dolphins or winning football is like hearing financial advice from Bernie Madoff or SBF
😂😂😂
I was waiting for unc to speak on this one😂😂
Aaron refused to show up for minicamp or preseason. How is that Saleh’s fault?
Exactly 💯
It's not
Mike T talking alot of non sense
It is ESPN, after all...
He been a GM on a playoff team so I get it you know more than him
A lot is two words. Nonsense isn’t.
For real man
ROBERT SALEH WAS NOT THE PROBLEM
Owner didn't think that
@@gmoney8585more like the GM didn’t want the owner looking in his direction.
@@gmoney8585 So? Jerry Jones still thinks the Cowboys are SB bound. 😂😂😂
Do you even watch the team or what? It was very much part of the problem. Team consistently was undisciplined and unprepared last three years
@scaccia.jess93 lol they won more games w/ Zach Wilson 😂😂😂
I literally remember his same network saying rodgers shouldnt play pre season so he doesnt get hurt. Now its a problem
Hackett is the problem! That offense is elementary.
Bro rodgers is just washed, it is what it is
They're both horrible
ESPN thank you for having Mike Tannenbaum on. Providing 20/20 insight from one of the worst GMs of all time. Maybe you can have Michael Lombardi on next to talk about how Al Davis would've handled this situation. Also, Mike, maybe you can get a refund for that terrible suit.
1. Aaron Rodgers. 🤦♀️
Rodgers didnt play preseason, has no chemistry with his receivers, stats like Zach Wilson.... the answer is to fire their HC with 2-3 .... Joke Franchise Team
Aaron Rodgers Got Him Fired 🤦🏿♂️
Jets release Rodgers, Rodgers retires, Jets fire Douglas, Jets hire Rodgers as GM, Rodgers trades for Adams, Rodgers retires as GM, Jets re-hire Douglas, Rodgers comes out of retirement, Jets resign Rodgers, Jets lose WC to Bengals... All is well as it should be😂
😂😂😂😂
To much time went into to this 😭😭
What was all that? 😂
I’m curious-- has any team ever fired its coach- five games in or more- and gone on to win the Super Bowl?
Don’t think so and only 3 teams have ever made the playoffs with an intern head coach
I don't like answering a question with a question however, this seems more rhetorical.
How are you going to make Aaron Rodgers play pre season when he wants to go sit in the dark somewhere else in the world?
Does rodgers have dirt on these people?
I swear he got diddy type tapes on these guys
Saleh wasn't perfect. Seems like the jets have a lot of issues. Looks like he's the scapegoat here
He was 20-32. Should’ve been fired before the season
Niners Need To Sign Robert Saleh as Defensive Coordinator As Soon As POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody knows Rodgers do what he wants to do. Where have you been at Tannenbaum? Rodgers control the Jets and the owner. 🤨
Only Dysfunctional franchise allows their QB to make this kind of decision
So, its Saleh's fault that Aaron Rodgers hasn't made the offense better? The defense is top 4 in almost all of the defensive categories and the defense (not including week 1) has held opposing offenses to an average of 13 points. Saleh is a defensive-minded coach. How tf is it his fault Aaron can't put together 2 or 3 TD drives to win a game! The Jets have to stop gaslighting. Firing Saleh for Aaron's incompetence is diabolical. 😂😂😂
Salehs been the coach of multiple offensive regimes now and they’ve all been terrible. He was 20-36 . Youre making up lies
freaking rodgers should've went to the broncos or the titans. However this falls entirely on rodgers. If rodgers was not the quarterback of this team, saleh would've still been the head coach.
It wasn't the Coach it was Aaron the diva Rogers.
Coach was 20-36. You want him to coach your team? No you don’t. Go away
Aaron Rodgers is the problem this is a laughable decision what a joke the Jets are.
I do not support Salah losing his job. However, I’m glad this happened. I hope the Jets also trade for Davonte Adams. Because then there will be no more excuses or distractions for anyone to look in any other direction other than squarely at Rodgers. Not showing up to training camp or playing in preseason with younger less experienced WRs is poor leadership.
The Jets have high standards!?! Sure they do!
Rodgers playing exactly like Zach but nobody talking about it😂
The players Association actually voted Minnesota as having the best facilities in the league
As they should. Spent 1.13 billion on a new stadium in 2016.
Rogers is your problem NYC. He’s overrated and a selfish prima donna. He has lost the big games the three years prior to his coming to the Jets. Can’t wait to see him fail. Oh and when he does you can bet he will deflect all blame and accountability.
And keeping a useless offensive coordinator
A new coach won't fix the "O" and "D"lines-I would'nt want to have to deal with Rogers-Being fired is painful BUT Saleh might see it as a blessing someday
THE WHITE QUARTERBACK ,AARON RODGERS THROWS 3 INTERCEPTIONS AND THE COACH GETS FIRED. " ONLY ON AMERICA "😅😅😅😅😅😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Joe Douglas hands are not clean in all of this either and I expect him to be out of job soon as well
THAT WAS DUMB
Shay shay be like do be dissing one of the brothers
jets better win the division and go to the SB after this
Thanks Jets. The 49ers will take Robert Saleh at DC
Saleh won’t be out of job for long, while this team has failed offensively the man knows defense and many team will looking for a defensive coordinator. And Aron Rodger’s is the problem, like Shannon said he never build chemistry with this team and he didn’t want to.
Its crazy to not make the right moves for your franchise because you will hurt feelings. AR8 should feel bad because Saleh was force to trust him and his boy with the offense and they didn't get it done.
Theory: what if he played subpar to get rid of Saleh and create an emotional reaction to get Devonte because he knows how bad the Jets organization wants to win now. High level chess or coincidence?
Great interview
WOODY JOHNSON SHOULD BE FIRED AS A OWNER OF THE JETS
There is a long history of teams cursed by a bad owner. Detroit Lions, Chicago Blackhawks are two that once their incompetent fool owners died they became very good teams. The sickness always starts at the top.
Jets fucked up on firing this coach didn't have Aaron the whole year last year . Decisions like this are why the Jets lose most of the time
If they don’t make the playoffs,I would tear it all down
Folks don't want to have a conversation about Rodgers and his control over the Jets.
Saleh was probably fired for wearing a Lebanon flag on his arm.
The Jets organization always blames the coaches. The organization is at fault. Todd Bowels never got a team like Rob Saleh.
5:02 you can play Aaron Rodger’s for pre- season because he got injured 😮
I never knew Dana White was coaching football
Broo you worked as GM for 16 years no championship seen, here you are badmouthing a coach who doesn’t have a say in the Club 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Who puts a star player in the preseason when the season before he got injured on the first play of the season
Coach killer strikes again
Mike T giving advice on the Jets.
This turned into an attack on Mike T! 😂
Lol Mike T is just hilariously embarrassing 😂😂😂
Mike T did not answer Stephen As question
Douglas should’ve been fired-
Rogers doesn't have it any more. This will be it for him.
Mike is way out of line , cause if that same frail 40 year old gets hurt then it’s saleh fault
Stephen A trying to get $25 million a year. The people there call him Mr. Greedy. They want him out.
Should have fired hackett he can't call plays
Rodgers and his yes men are the problem
Farve notoriously took training camp off. The Packers had to fly and go get him. Love when people whitewash history to fit the narrative. 😅
You done messed up now A-Aron!
Call em out Steven A
Woody Johnson sucks as an owner.
Bill Bellichek to the Jets !!!!!
you dont know whats going in in rogers head he knows he can play
Dawg getting/ is old, coming off an injury season, missing out on practices and the preseason, last throw before this season was an INT. 💀💀 dude fs on his way out the league
thats peoples opinions like the press its not the press playing football if he knows he can still play there nothing wrong with that but nfl media needs to relax its not up to them to tell him to not play no more they are not in his shoes they are giving there opinions that does not mean they are right
the nfl media gos to far on some things
He got fired for wearing the Lebanese flag
No one can oppose the 🥸
They fired him b3cause he supported Lebanon wore a flag on his jets shirt during the game. The owner Woody Johnson makes it clear he wants people on his side
Sounds ridiculous. Than again there kind usually is
That's nonsense. They fired him because Saleh didn't want to take the blame for their losing record.
This is classic scapegoating.
@@OfficalMrBlue
It's "their" not "there."
And humankind is ridiculous at times, I agree.
surprised it didn’t happen sooner
Since The New York Jets Gambles On A Aging Quarterback 's Aaron Rodgers. Theirs Owner And General Manager Gots Suckers In By The Green Bay Packers To Makes A Horrible Trade For Aaron Rodgers Whose's Hasn't Performed Well In Over Two Years. Otherthan The Trade By The Cleveland Browns Mades With The Houston Texans For De'Shaud Watson. Question Which One 's Of These Two NFL 's Franchise Fans Base Is Going To Pays For Long Term For The Worst Two Trades In NFL 's History?
I'm sure to all the haters out there that LeBron had something to do with the Jets coach getting fired. LOL
Fraudgers acts a lot like Lebum isn’t too far fetched lol
What is he talking about?
Wow
Political
Cam
Newton should be glad the Jets didn’t call him after all this.
God protected him & he didn’t realize it at the time. 👍🙏
The Lebanese patch got him fired smh
No it didn't. The nfl has actually encouraged and promoted players and coaches to wear patches representing their backgrounds. From belichick to daboll. Many coaches and players have worn patches/stickers on helmets representing their backgrounds.
@@billyyank5807 yes because its all the same situation lol.
The Jets will not make the playoffs!!
Trade Rodgers and move on
MIKE T has some of the worst takes 🤡🤡
