*I'm an amateur rider, and **Latest.Bike** performed as expected. It was easy to assemble and adjust, and I like the grip-shift. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.*

Installing this on a trail bike with a slack head tube angle is not very usable, it restricts the turning radius way too much. But it's fun to be able to ride with toddlers. Can't wait to test a Shotgun type seat.

Yup, the Shotgun or MacRide are the definite winners for use on a mountain bike.

Is there a specific MTB adapter for Thule yepp mini nexxt 2?
I keep reading and searching but cannot find one.

Why isn’t carbon frame recommended? Was really hoping to get this on the MTB.

I jus ttried installing the mount on my Surly Straggler and I think the stem is too thick! Do you have any advice on how to get it on? Thanks!

Any comments on using it on a road bike? Or too difficult due to the position?

I wouldn't recommend it on a road bike because the back is pretty high. It would make the reach difficult. You could try a seat like the ibert that has a lower back. The back on the Yepp Mini is higher. My husband used to use that on his road bike.

How are you supporting the bike while you put the child in?

Great question. The easiest solution is a heavy duty kickstand. I've also leaned the bike up against a wall, or had another parent help hold it.

@@Rascalrides I really want to try this, I'm just so unsure about what it will be like having to reach around my son and ride at the same time. He is 23 lb and I have a trail bike

      I used my kickstand.
Stand in front of the bike with your feet on each side of the front wheel.
      Works like a charm!
I have used our Yepp Mini for all three of my kids and I'm so glad I saw the seat on a bike in town.
I haven't seen any ads for this style of seats in my country (Sweden).
