I had a pink lava lamp as a kid. My parents fought a lot and it was a rough household so I spent a lot of time just hiding away in my room sad. I would plug in the lava lamp and just stare until they stopped. It brought me peace. It’s been so long but I’ve been so stressed and this brings me back to that peace I used to feel. We grow up but we never really change.
I’ve always had a lot of sleep problems because of mental health and pain/medication. I love putting this on and watching the little blobs morph to help me drift off to sleep. It’s so relaxing :)
I found this channel the other day and zoned out and was able to finish reading a book lol. It was calming enough in the background that it wasn't distracting. I added it to my calming music Playlist.

I used this for the first time yesterday because I had a crippling nightmare and I couldn’t get myself to fall back asleep. So I searched for a good lava lamp vid so I can have something to look at. I found this and before you know it, my eyes were getting heavy and a second later I wake up and it’s day time lol. I was honestly confused on how it was day so fast but I felt good because I got sleep. So thank you!
